Unique Design and Ambiance: The property features a mix of Hollywood Regency, boho, and modern decor, housed in a stylishly renovated historic building with art deco elements. The overall aesthetic created a boutique, home-like atmosphere.

Quirky but lovely small hotel in a wonderful part of CDMX. Owned and designed by an architect/interior designer couple with great sense of style. Very helpful staff. Our junior suite included a dressing room as large as some hotel rooms. Lots of stairs, but interesting street view from room, with very little street noise. Lots of lounge areas and access to a full kitchen. Very appealing bars and restaurant neighboring. Large and comfortable room. Definitely recommend for couples or singles.

Just super and great restaurant downstairs. Beautiful room with perfect bathroom. Location is tremendous on a leafy street in a lovely part of town. Really well managed by competent friendly people who care about what they do. A great find. Moved there from a disaster hotel nearby.

Pros: Good location, clean hotel Cons: If you want to sleep, book a hotel elsewhere. Apts 1 and 2 are directly above a wine bar that plays loud music until 12:30 am. We got maybe 4-5 hours of sleep because of how loud it was - fan and ear plugs just weren't enough. Also, it's "self-service." This means there is no one at the front desk and they don't respond to emails either. Worst of all worlds - at least with Airbnb you get a responsive host and a regular hotel you have someone willing to help you or relocate you. Won't be back.

We booked this hotel through ******* and one month later the hotel cancelled our reservation with no explanation or contact. Tried to contact them but they don't have an email address and tried calling their number but there was no answer. That's just terrible customer service. Lucky we had a little bit of time to book somewhere else.

The moment you walk in, it is absolutely gorgeous. I love the interiors--it is a funky mix of Hollywood Regency, boho and modern. It's right next to the Hipodromo Park, which is magical, and there are TONS of restaurants and bars nearby. Very walkable neighborhood, near Roma Norte, Condesa and even walkable to the Financial district where all the high-end hotels are, and to Chapultepec Park. We stayed on the 4th floor. The apartment is very large, bathrooms are gorgeous, closet is huge but not super usable due to the layout. The shower has dual showerheads for 2 people, though we only noticed this on our last morning there. There is a separate room for the toilet, and 2 sinks with A LOT of storage for all of your toiletries. They only give you 1 bath towel per person, so if you like lots of towels, you should ask ahead of time. The shared common spaces throughout the apartment building are nice, though outdoor seating is uncomfortable. The cafe/bar on the ground level is pretty and very shady, service is good and the drinks are decent, though spendy. If you want a lot of privacy, you have to keep the window shades down because the condos across the street are taller than the hotel and look straight into the room. The AC didn't work all that well, so we kept the windows open at night, but it is noisy in the evenings on the weekend, and the pollution in CDMX is terrible. If you have asthma like me, this will be difficult for you. Also, there is no elevator, so it is quite a long haul to lug your suitcases up 4 flights of stairs. Not good for anyone with mobility issues. There is no concierge or front desk service. Someone will meet you when you arrive to give you the passcode for the front door. Also, the room is has a king bed, but it is short in length. We discovered that it is really 2 twin beds pushed together with a thick mattress topper. Our feet stuck out over the edge of the bed. The TV does have Netflix, but there's no easy QR code access to sign in, only manual. I would definitely stay here again because it is so pretty and I love the neighborhood and the park, and I don't mind not having concierge service. It's basically like staying in an Airbnb without the ridiculous fees and list of chores to do before you leave. It would be a perfect place to stay if you're traveling with other couples, too. If you're a tall person, the bed will be an issue. Overall, I highly recommend!!

Casa Mannach was pretty much perfect for my stay. I had the Penthouse to myself, and it was just like having my own apartment in CDMX. In a fantastic neighborhood, on a leafy street, in a stylishly renovated old building, with a cafe and bar next door, you'd never know this little "hotel" was there. It feels like an insider's very low key secret. I had a few hours of work to do, and the wifi in my room and in the cafe next door worked perfectly. I had my own fridge and dining area. The bathroom and the shower were great. Everything was clean, and they kept replenishing the filtered water. There is an entire floor and huge patio for common use. The staff was exceptionally friendly and welcoming. (Shout out to Luis!) There is a ton to do and eat and drink within walking distance. I will definitely stay here again.

Amazing stay in a perfect location, with fantastic hospitality! I was anxious because our flight was coming in very late, so we'd be checking in at 1am, and there wouldn't be a front desk person due to the boutique nature of this small hotel... but Rocio was so incredibly responsive and sweet and even sent a video showing exactly how to check in and get our room key, plus where our room was located... and she ended up sticking around late to let us in anyway! She was so responsive if any questions came up during our stay. The hotel is gorgeous (please stay in the Oso ***** room if possible, it is the best one!), with terraces on a lovely street, just steps to Parque Mexico, possibly the most beautiful park in CDMX, and lots of restaurants and coffeeshops. There's a great little wine bar right next to the hotel called Canopia that I would also recommend. I would 100% stay here again, can't wait to return.
