Die Mitarbeiter waren sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Wir sind mit Hund gereist, der sehr willkommen war. Die Zimmer waren sauber und geräumig. Außerdem sehr gut ausgestattet, z. B. bequeme Matratzen. Auch beim Essen konnte man sich nicht beschweren, es hat keine Wünsche offen gelassen. Wir können das Hotel wärmstens empfehlen!

Wir verbrachten 4 Tage im wunderschön gelegenen Flair Hotel Waldfrieden. Super Service, sehr nettes Personal von der Aushilfe bis zum Chef. Sehr schön angerichtetes Frühstücksbuffet und sehr reichliche Portionen zum Abendessen. Wir können das Hotel nur weiterempfehlen.

Es handelt sich hier zwar um ein älteres Haus, welches sich aber in einem sehr gepflegten, sauberen und renovierten Zustand befindet!!!! Als weiteres möchte ich hier die sehr gute Küche erwähnen, die für mich sehr auffällig war, halten Sie sich Ihre Köche unbedingt sehr warm!!! Als weiteres möchte ich das Personal erwähnen, habe selten so ein höfliches und freundliches Personal vorgefunden!!!!!!!!!!!! Mir hat es absolut bestens gefallen und es war NICHT mein letzter Aufenthalt in diesem Haus!!!

Im Laufe einer Weitwanderung waren wir in einer Woche zweimal Gäste im Waldfrieden. Kleines, aber schönes Zimmer mit einem guten Bett und komfortabelem Bad. Das Abendessen bei HP war sehr gut, das reichhaltige Angebot zum Frühstück ebenso. Empfang, auch regennass, sehr freundlich und willkommen. Ein Punkt Abzug für die frühe Schließungszeit (20 Uhr) von Restaurant und Bar auf der schönen Terrasse.

Wir waren das erste mal in der Gegend Schwarzatal und wir wurden nicht enttäuscht. Wir können das familiäre Hotel sehr empfehlen, auch Hunde sind herzlich willkommen. Das Personal war sehr zuvorkommend, das Essen im Restaurant qualitativ hochwertig, frisch und lecker. Es gibt einen kleinen aber feinen Wellnessbereich, die Bäder sind neu gemacht. Einzig die Straße war zuweilen etwas lauter bzw. fährt auch alle 30min die Schwarzatalbahn vorbei. Aber da wir tagsüber größtenteils unterwegs waren (Wanderwege direkt vor der Tür) haben wir davon nicht viel mitbekommen. Das Hotel hat leider keinen Fahrstuhl, in die oberen Etagen gelangt man ausschließlich über die Treppe.

Wir hatten ein angenehmes verlängertes Wochenende im Hotel Waldfrieden. Das Zimmer war gemütlich und stilvoll eingerichtet. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Essen war durchweg lecker. Wir sind mit dem Zug angereist, was hier sehr leicht möglich ist, weil der Bahnhof direkt gegenüber liegt (hört man aber nicht im Zimmer). Und auch vor Ort konnten wir die Bahnstrecke für Ausflüge nutzen. Die Gegend ist sehr schön, man kann stundenlang wandern und hat das Gefühl, den Wald für sich alleine zu haben. Definitiv ein Geheimtipp - sowohl das Hotel, als auch die Gegend.
