Very nice 3-day stay in Mettlach, in the cosy atmosphere of Hotel Haus Schons. The staff is very friendly and service-oriented. Good breakfast. Free and easy parking. Easy access to the centre of Mettlach and to the river Saar. Beautiful views.

Ich war geschäftlich im Hotel Schloss Saareck unterwegs, welche aber keine freien Zimmer mehr hatten. Aus diesem Grund habe ich die in direkter Nachbarschaft gelegene Alternative gewählt.

Unser Zimmer war geräumig und sehr individuell eingerichtet. Das Bad war groß und modern. Das Frühstück war sehr persönlich angerichtet, umfassend und wohlschmeckend, sogar mit Orangen-Pressmaschine. Der Aufenthaltsraum mit SB-Getränken ist sehr gemütlich und lädt zum Verweilen ein. Die Fahrräder konnten sicher im großen Keller abgestellt werden - der Zugang war aber wirklich beängstigend niedrig. Die Treppe im Haus ist alt und eng, mit Gepäck ist es nicht ganz einfach, sicher hoch und wieder runter zu kommen. Der Zimmerpreis ist trotz der guter Einrichtung und der Zimmergröße aus meiner Sicht überzogen.

Zum wiederholten Mal haben wir auf der Familien-Radtour hier Station gemacht. Die Fahrradgarage ist groß, mit vielen Lademöglichkeiten. Zimmer großzügig und mit allem Komfort, viele Details. Das Frühstück ist immer wieder toll. Unsere Kinder sind immer noch begeistert von den Waffeln, die sie sich selbst backen durften. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Für Geschäftsreisende (und nicht nur die!) eine super Alternative zu den vielen Kettenhotels. Hier gibt es wirklich einen herzlichen Empfang, auch außerhalb der normalen Rezeptionszeiten. Meine (Fehl-)buchung zu korrigieren war überhaupt kein Problem (ich hatte versehentlich für den falschen Termin gebucht). Super freundlicher Service, schönes Zimmer mit gutem Arbeitsplatz, tolles Bad, prima Ausstattung und einem super Bett! Alles, was man braucht. Das Frühstück ist klasse! Sehr gerne wieder!
