Hotel Sansicario Majestic

I was impressed by the hospitality of the entertainment team and restaurant personal. Many many activities for children, friendly staff and warm atmosphere! Kudos to them! + playroom for children + pool (in the first part of the day + food (breakfast buffet, dinner a la carte) + baby products in the room + confortabile beds + lockers (warm) for ski next to the slope + frecvent transfers to the slope + snacks in the afternoon - pretty small rooms (did not have space for the crib) but there was an extra bed which we used

Excellent hotel for a skiing holiday. The frequent large hotel bus to the nearby slopes, where there were secure hotel ski lockers near the chairlift, made daily access very easy. The hotel staff were friendly and made everything run smoothly in a relaxed but efficient way. The rooms were spacious and comfortable with nice balconies. The public areas had ample pleasant space to relax and the apre ski tea and cake that was provided here or on the sunny terrace was a nice way to end a day of skiing. The morning coffee bar was a nice surprise and all the food was excellent. A special thanks to Antonio who looked after us at dinner. The use of the swimming pool and yoga class with Roberta helped post skiing recovery. (A little feedback but no real complaints: There were some problems with the technology in the hotel but the human staff adequately covered for it. The swimming booking system worked some days and not others so a trip to reception was sometimes required to book. There was an Alexa unit in the rooms that was useless. We got no correct information from it and some of the answers were so incorrect that it was amusing. This was quickly unplugged. The prepayment card was a bit inconvenient and it would have been nice not to have to spend holiday time going to reception to charge the card before buying a drink. I accept that's the system in use) In summary, the whole hotel worked together to produce a great holiday for us.

We booked a week in this hotel with Crystal, a group of 4. The hotel is located about a 15 minute walk from the centre of St Anton but there is a hotel shuttle bus, ski bus a short walk from the hotel, and the hotel provides a voucher so you can store your boots and skis at Alber ski hire by the main lifts. This was a very good service. The rooms in the hotel were very comfortable warm and clean. There is some noise from neighbouring rooms, if you are lucky you will be next to someone who keeps the same hours as you. The sauna and steam room were beneficial at the end of the day. Food for breakfast was plentiful, the same in the evening. Especially the salad bar which was a meal in itself. We had a vegetarian and vegan in our party - not so easy for some Austrians but we were happy with the food on offer. We drank in the bar every evening, other guests were sociable, and sometimes we played games. It was difficult to keep tabs on the bar bill as no prices were on display and we wanted to pay separately. But it was sorted in the end. One of the staff who works on reception used to be a ski instructor and has lived in the area all her life. We wish we had made use of her knowledge a bit more as we found travelling to all parts of the ski area a bit tricky and we could have used the buses more. All in all a good resort for a week and the hotel was everything you could want for a week's skiing.

I would like to echo the comments from other guests who stayed during the first week of February 2024. This truly is a wonderful hotel that ticked so many boxes. Friendly staff, excellent 4 course dinners every night (with a salad bar too) and wine and sparkling water included, good choice for breakfast with a barista making coffee to order (aswell as serve yourself coffee machines for those less fussy than me), good spa facilities and clean, well managed pool (be sure to book your slot at reception in advance - no charge), shuttle bus running to the slopes a mere 5 mins away every 15 mins and a ski room for your boots and skis at the bottom of the slopes. If you miss the bus or choose tostretch out those muscles after a day on the slopes its a 13 minute walk to the hotel. At 4pm every afternoon, apres ski starts in the lounge with lively entertainers providing soft drinks and snacks (again complimentary). The lounge area is a great meeting place with a bar and large glass panorama looking out to the mountains. There is evening entertainment provided for the younger folk as well as a kids club and table tennis. The only observations I would make regarding worthy improvements would be that the bathrooms whilst decorated beautifully lack shelves and space for your toiletries and there is a lack of hooks to hang items to dry like salopettes and ski jackets (and towels for that matter) which for a family of 3 in one room means they are hanging in the most imaginative of places! I got a little frustrated with the light switches beside the beds too....I think anyone who has stayed there would probably agree its hard to find the switches amongst the 'blanks' next to them. These seem extremely petty points to raise but reviews should help improve places so should not omit these observations and at the end of the day are not showstoppers. We will definitely return......when you have experienced things this good it is hard to imagine you could find better elsewhere! Thank you everyone at the Hotel Majestic San Sicario!!!!!
