The Laqua Countryside is an excellent boutique hotel. Our family rented two rooms and they were both very nice. The breakfast was served by hotel staff and it was wonderful. The location is a bit more remote, so you should allow some extra time for travel. The staff were very professional and helpful, and we enjoyed the well maintained facilities and yard at the hotel.

What a fantastic experience! I was at the Laqua restaurant together with my wife to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We have been welcomed with warm hospitality and after a quick tour to see the garden and the pool area we have started what will remain an unforgettable experience. We had chosen the two main menus (Nonna Fiorentina and Nonno Antonino) and a selection of valuable wines. The turbot with fried watermelon and the ice cream made with “provolone del monaco” are unique and the probably contributed to the awarding of the Michelin star. Chef Nicola and his team made that dinner priceless. It’s a real journey in a multitude of flavors. Top!

Reached with a 30 minutes drive from the main highway from Vico Equense - or apparently a +/- one hour walk over the mountain to/from Positano - this a culinary treat high in the mountains overlooking the Bay of Naples. Food is as you would expect for one star michelin (is that all!) and very reasonably priced compared to what you may pay on the cliffs below. We are a la carte and, with all the extra accompaniments could not manage a desert. Spaghetti with Sea Urchin, signature dish, Turbot and Pigeon, all with amazing flavours and perfectly paired wines, carefully discussed with the restaurant manager. Superb lunch time treat. Tour of hotel and kitchen garden. The few rooms are elegantly designed, with a stunning top floor apartment.

It was a nice surprise that exceeded expectations. Small charming hotel with excellent service, a very good restaurant and a calm and welcoming atmosphere. A little far from Positano but well worth the travel time.

On a hot weekend in July, an escape to this wonderful corner of peace immersed in nature with its sunflowers and rich vegetable garden, the swimming pool ... we slept in a beautiful room "the curate" pampered by the silence in the middle of the greenery and from afar you can see the sea .. excellent and rich breakfast .. !!! We dined in the starred restaurant delighted by the chef Nicola Somma, we chose the Don Antonino tasting menu .. and the icing on the cake was the unexpected presence of the chef Antonino Cannavacciuolo and Giorgio Locatelli his guest, both of a surprising sympathy and humility .. immense .. we will return without a doubt, you think about it if you decide to treat yourself to a starred experience in an oasis of peace !!!
