I had booked well in advance in April because I was intrigued by the beauty of the place. The place is simply enchanting and the aperitif on the terrace was a daydream with a breathtaking sunset. The barman E. was a perfect host, very knowledgeable not only about cocktails and wines but also about the entire history of the lighthouse and its previous inhabitants including, as he told us, the first female lighthouse keeper of whom there is any trace in history. For the rest, the service and restaurant were embarrassingly disappointing. The tasting menus that they had proposed to me at the time of booking were not there and there were completely different dishes. The bread brought to the table and presented as freshly baked was frozen in the center (just ice that had not melted), the wine brought to the table was different from the one ordered even though the waiter insisted for a long time stating the opposite (we had asked to continue with the wine drunk on the terrace at the aperitif but we were brought a completely different bottle), dishes served without a minimum of explanation, the catch of the day served, you don't know what fish it was and from the flavor it seemed anything but that of the day. I don't argue about prices, and I'm happy to pay when the experience is worth it and also to come back when I'm happy, but in this case I really think I wasted money. It's a shame because we ruined our anniversary dinner.
