The internet page offers the wellness centre, but the swimming pool is closed, as well as the sauna. We found out later that both were out of order for at least one year. When we came for breakfast at 10.00 am (breakfast is served from 7,30 to 10,30) there wasn't any bread, no plates, no glasses or cups. Tables were full of dirty dishes left by guests. Next day we came at 9.00 am and situation was better, but there was nothing warm: no egs, saussages or anything similar, just two kinds of salamy, one kind of cheese, lots of croissants. When we asked for butter the waiter brought 4 (four) pieces (20 g) to our table (for 3 adult persons). The bathroom was equipped by thin cloths instead of towels. Next day we got towels. The worst hotel ever.

You can't imagine how negative this experience can possibly be. The hotel is not in Bologna or anywhere near Bologna. Trying to get to and from the hotel has resulted in countless hours and money spent on taxis and extra train tickets for when you miss the train because buses are rare and there are no taxis or Ubers...the hotel also won't help you in any way to get to and from their hotel so don't think you can rely on them. Most of the reception workers don't even speak English. The hotel itself maybe was 4 stars when it first opened in the 70s or 80s and hasn't been renovated properly since. It's in terrible shape. The rooms and beds look like a poorly maintained time capsule. The restaurant is a joke but luckily there was a decent restaurant across the street to eat at. We felt literally trapped here. Do yourself a favour and avoid it at all cost.

I stayed in this places for 3 nights, for work, and I have to say: I didnt expect it to be so disappointing...Small rooms with old furniture, small bathrooms (the shower was really rusty) and small elevators (I took the stairs many times because I was afraid they were gonna stop). Low level of cleanliness... My friend found a spider on her pillow!!! But the worst part is... The people that work there! Unhelpful, always joking (even when you ask a serious question) and not nice with customers. An example... At dinner my knife was dirty, I said so to the waiter and he told me as a joke "oh no... I always say to customer to bring their own!!!" and he left without changing the knife. Only bright side. The food was okey (even good in my opinion) ...A rich buffet for breakfast and a standard menu (with different options including pizza) for lunch and dinner.

Please give this a wide birth it really is appalling. Dirty rooms, paper thin wall with bare wires in corridors. Kept awake all night by a bunch of special people banging on a piano right in front of reception staff who chose to do nothing about it. Looks like its falling apart from the outside and thats the best bit. Who gave this plays 4 stars? Needs 4 gallons and a match.

I stayed at this hotel on a business trip, unfortunately for 3 nights. It's the worst hotel I've ever been for business. A few highlights: - 1970s building and rooms, probably never refurbished since - very uncomfortable bed and pillows - no soundproofing: the walls are super thin, you can hear someone snoring or watching tv from the next room - cleaning service: they BANG on your door at 9am and come back multiple times, still banging - tiny shower - no complementary water - nor minibar either (there is one, but empty) - no boiler or basic facilities - the toiletry kit is minimal - no carpet, which results into even noisier rooms - breakfast: very poor and low quality. Besides, from a Covid viewpoint the process it's totally wrong: the buffet is no longer self service (by law in Italy during the pandemic), however here some parts of the buffet are open to self service (cereal, juice, etc)., which no logic whatsoever. - I've been booked this hotel by a client because I needed good internet connection and to be fair it's ok, but not super fast. Besides, the reception(wifi and 4G) in the lobby is close to zero Long story short: a 4 stars' hotel that is closer to 2. AVOID!

We had a quiet weekend. Welcomed straight away. Full availability for any need. Also to fix our motorbikes, which we care about in particular. Abundant and well assorted breakfast. Lunch and dinner served with grace and the right timing. Excellent quality and portions. Already tried on other occasions, so they constantly keep the quality of services high. We also had the opportunity to try the swimming pool, large and spacious. Point of reference for us when we want to stop in the area and we will return again with pleasure. I point this out for you to take into consideration. Price adequate and consistent with expectations

From a 4 star hotel I expect the top. Insufficient cleanliness in the rooms. Poor meals and inedible food. The end of year menu is the worst I have eaten in my life. Only one key per couple despite the request for a double key as they are in the room with a friend. No safe in the room. Antediluvian shower with onion spraying water everywhere. The only decent meal in three days was New Year's Eve. They insist on putting vegetables on the buffet with more than 150 people crowding together like wild beasts, given that food is scarce. THE ONLY REAL 4TH STAR IS THE WAITERS, KIND, TIRELESS AND PROFESSIONAL. Advice: change the chef but above all the managers
