Staff were lovely, helpful and the service was great. However, we were late being given our room as they were behind on the cleaning. Wouldn't usually be an issue but we just needed to check-in, drop off our bags and go. Staff did try to make the room ready asap which was great. Room was ok, a little tired, needing some updating/fixing up as it was missing a toilet roll holder and the wallpaper was peeling by the window but otherwise it was nice. Some of the hallways were a little smelly for some reason, there are plug-in's to try and cover this but they didn't seem to do much. Didn't have any food so I can't comment

I stayed here whilst attending an event in Leeds. It's a fantastic setting, beautiful well maintained gardens and plenty of parking. It's also great for easy access to Leeds centre, about £18 in a taxi. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. I thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast - the beautiful area where you eat, nice and airy, bright and spacious, again the staff, the food itself and the selection, all brilliant! Me and my colleague had quite different rooms but both clean and comfy with everything you need. This place is most definitely value for money and some! If you're thinking of booking here, looking for somewhere to stay close to Leeds centre then do not hesitate to book the Gomersal Park Hotel

Lovely place to stay. Only 4 star because the hotel rooms could be a bit more updated. The restaurant was really nice furnished. Spa facilities & treatments were nice too. The maintenance was great too, you can see the staff keeping everything in check. Most importantly the service was excellent, including Jess and Simon on reception and Isabel from the restaurant went above and beyond. Really friendly and helpful. Thank you for a lovely stay.

The staff are so friendly and welcoming a true asset to the hotel. Location and grounds are beautiful. Actual hotel room was very spacious albeit tired and dated. Small tweaks could have vastly improved it - the blind was broken and didn’t keep any of the light out and the pillows were flat and lumpy. Room was very stuffy even with the window open wide. Every time someone went through the door on the corridor it banged which caused issues when trying to sleep. Breakfast was good and unfortunately we didn’t get time to use the spa. Hotel needs updating and some TLC but the staff are great!!

Stayed for one night in family room, and a mixed bag of experiences. Check in - desk and the staff were exceptional very friendly and bubbly. Room - The corridors and rooms are tired and in desperate need of an upgrade. The window, whilst safe had a huge crack in it, the carpets and furniture were old and damaged. It needed a good deep clean. The door and light fitting banged every time someone walked down the corridor but a few temporary adjustments meant we could sleep. The bed linen was clean. Dinner - staff were friendly, helpful and efficient and the food was delicious. Breakfast - self service which was fine and the food was average. However none of the staff in the morning had a smile which was a shame after the dinner experience. We chose the hotel due to location but don’t think I’d choose to stay for any other reason until it’s had a makeover.

Nice enough hotel, the staff were welcoming and friendly and the cleanliness good. Slept very well in the comfortable bed. Evening meal very nice, but breakfast just ok, we went at the later part of the breakfast times and the fry didn't look good, so we had toast. The downstairs part of the hotel looked good, however the hotel bedroom was looking slightly tired and the furniture needs upgrading. Overall good stay. I thought the price was a bit expensive as we had been to another local hotel and it was far superior and cheaper.

I was one of the unfortunate group who were booked out to this hotel for a conference at the Cedar Court Hotel. We were told this was a superior hotel, but that is far from the truth. Tired, grubby, and in need of a lot of TLC the hotel rooms and corridors are very far from the plush spa and nice restaurant/bar area (assume these have been renovated). The blind in the room cuts out no daylight, so don’t expect to sleep after sunrise if you are a light sleeper. The shower has no power, and you slip around in the grubby bath as the “tread” has worn off. There are marks and chips everywhere, the carpet is sticky in places (very threadbare in the public areas) and weird marks on the walls. Breakfast is basic, especially when the Chef is not informed that the hotel has agreed to start service 30 minutes early at the weekend, a fact that also seemed to have passed the Duty Manager when checking the following evening. I did manage to get a room at Cedar Court in the end, which is freshly refurbished with a large comfy bed, hot power shower, TV you can see from the bed, and curtains to cut out light and noise. I think many of the reviews on here refer to the restaurant, weddings, or spa, not the actual hotel.

Lovely hotel. Stayed for 3 nights and the place is lovely clean and the staff and very helpful and very polite. It’s situated perfect for all my needs and will definitely be using this hotel again. In addition the spar was state of the art and clean as a whistle.

Made booking for friend as she was getting married locally, everything they advised wouldn’t be an issue prior to booking was then not possible when we called to check the week before. The hotel is very tired, room we stayed in the towel rail connector was all smashed and dangerous and the furniture all warn and chipped. The Spa is a joke, happy to take your money for the ‘upgrade’ of the fire & ice experience and then when showing round then point out things don’t work as they’re waiting for parts. You get the pool & sauna included in your stay so the upgrade is for some room temperature water with lemons in, a unclean outdoor jacuzzi that didn’t seem to work correct, steam room and a foot spa! Tried endlessly to contact hotel following our stay promised someone would acknowledge our email and get back to us and 3 weeks later nothing. Save your money & book elsewhere!
