Hotel Mesa AZ Downtown East

I stayed here for a night prior to flying out of Phoenix-Mesa Gateway. I choose it because it was cheap and I wasn't looking for anything fancy. They agreed to a late checkout which I was grateful for. Staff during check-in and check-out were very friendly and helpful. The room was satisfactory. The bed was big, clean and comfortable. The bathroom was much to be desired. Seemed outdated and frankly a bit dirty but it wasn't horrendous. Not very much water pressure but still usable. The room had a fridge and microwave which was nice. I'd recommend it for an over night stay.

Room 1 -The heater in the room did not work. Broken lamp next to the bed. Asked to be moved to a different room. Room 2 - still had a lamp next to the bed that did not work. There were thick layers of dust on the walls. The sink was cracked and the water to it was shut off. Was afraid the next room would be even worse and we were tired so we just spent a rather restless night before our flight in the morning.
