We stayed for one night at Homestead visiting family in the area. We especially enjoyed drinking our freshly ground coffee (provided by Homestead) around the fire pit in the morning. Mike has thought of everything! Wish we could have stayed longer.

The only thing wrong is The Homestead is listed as "2-star". It's definitely 5 stars. Our room was fantastic. No dust. No cobwebs. Bathroom was immaculate. No mildew. No rust marks. Towels are huge and enough of them. Bath products are very nice. Beds - perfect; mattresses firm but not hard (no sagging in the middle). Bed linens are quite nice. Heating/cooling system easily self-adjusted. Real dishes, coffee cups and silverware. While we didn't use it, a most interesting countertop ice maker. The inn (I just can't call it a motel, is so much more than that) is just out of town, so quiet and peaceful. Our private patio had a spectacular view, with an available firepit. The nightly rate is so worth all that is offered. Owners communicated with us by text/email enough for us to know they were available as needed. We highly recommend and will definitely stay here again.

Super nice place, owner greeted us on arrival. The room was CLEAN and bright. The location is quiet and near everything we wanted to do (eat an drink). We are so glad to have found this place. We will absolutely stay here any time we come to Palisade.

Homestead is wonderful! We had the pleasure to stay here during the summer of 2023 on a family vacation. The room was fresh, clean and updated. The owners did a fantastic job renovating and were a pleasure talking too. Wineries are right down the road and it is not far from the center of town. I highly recommend staying here plus It was nice getting away from chain hotels.
