Hôtel & Spa Face À la Mer

Very beautiful hotel and great view. Very modern. Great food and fancy rooms. Very clean. Services where at most best and helpful. Fantastic location and near to places to go visit. I would definitely recommend this to all that I know want holiday ideas.

This place is perfect! This was our last part of a trip in France and it did not disappoint. The hotel is right on the beach and has plenty of amenities near by. The duplex apartment was modern, clean and has everything you could need for a great stay. 5 star ⭐️ place with perfect staff. Also highly recommend the breakfast, yummy and great quality.

Really great location right in front of the beach, sandwiched by a free parking lot (park here during your stay). The staff is very pleasant. If you're used to staying in a branded hotel, this hotel missed the mark. It was almost no frills. There was only hand wash and a shampoo/body wash combo thing. Not even lotion? There were also a couple of small pieces of hair on the sink counter when we checked in. The in room tea/coffee is packaged powder, no pods. Wifi only worked half the time...would all of a sudden get dropped. Certainly can't connect for a Zoom call. The bed was way too firm, we didn't sleep well. Also, for a 'spa hotel', no slippers or robes? Didn't bother to try the breakfast so no comment there. Amenities were disappointing.

This hotel is definitely a destination hotel. Merville-Franceville-Plage is a sleepy town that you can cross in minutes. The hotel is literally face à la mer (next to the sea). Bring your beach items, walk across the street and you're right at the beach. It's lovely. The lobby of the hotel is very tastefully done. Modern. The rooms are comfortable and well appointed. Our view of the sea was exquisite. The toiletries in the room were of a very nice quality (I wish I would have written down the name so I could buy some). We did not hear our neighbors the whole time we were there. Breakfast---wow. This is the best hotel breakfast I have ever encountered. So many cakes,pastries, jams, viennoiseries, just wow. On nice days you can also sit outside. Service- Service was absolutely professional. I speak French, so I cannot attest to how it is in English but I imagine it's great. The spa--- The spa is tiny and made private. The size is perfect for a couple. The hamman was lovely, the whirlpool was delightful, and the nordic shower felt great. We will gladly return to this destination. Bravo, toute l'equipe de l'hotel! There are a few restaurants in town---so get reservations.
