The room was clean but with a low hairdryer, the air conditioning was warm and the winter -4 was a full breakfast or breakfast buffet. And the best of all next to restaurants and shopping, and 10 minutes from the airport. And it has a taxi station that serves guests, very important because the uber/bolt cancelled when the race was short and the rates are up to 60 euros in flight hours instead of 14 euros. We returned to this hotel after an excellent stay end last year. We changed our route and booked this hotel. Again, perfect service. We got a much nicer room this time. Very large and in a quit location. Nice balcony with a view of the forest. This worked out perfectly for some nice wine and cheese. The pool was great and open this time. We enjoyed the swim. In the evening we had dinner. That was the highlight of our stay last time so expectations were high. The dinner was only ok this time. Did they change the chef? I mean the food was perfectly fine but nothing special. We were a little bit disappointed In the morning the breakfast was changed a little. The variety of the food was less then before. The quality was very good however. All in all, we will return and this hotel is on our favorite list. Hopefully the restaurant is improved so the food will again be excellent and a reason to drive to this hotel.

On en a pour son argent. Chambre propre, hôtel bien situé pour moi. Le chauffage fonctionne bien, important en hiver. Le point négatif pour moi est le bureau trop petit. Le chauffage est situé très prêt du bureau. On sent vraiment la chaleur ce qui est désagréable. Si on baisse trop le chauffage, aglagla. Il faut trouver le bon compromis.

Word of warning - no restaurant or bar at all. Just vending machines with 3 or 4 sad sandwiches and some sad looking boxed salads when we arrived with 3 hungry children and adults looking forward to a beer after a long day. No alcohol at all. Nowhere nearby to get food or drink. Deliveroo pizza was all we could get and it was awful too. It never occurred to us to check that a hotel would have food, we assumed a restaurant and bar is a given especially when located miles from any other options. Nowhere to buy or get alcohol delivered. Rooms are tiny. Although there is a fan temperature control in the room you cannot change it. Have to trek down to reception- no phone or intercom - to get them to change it. Windows in vending room area were dusty when kids wipped their hand on it. Dust on ledges and walls in the room. A giant cockroach in the stairwell. Not the hotels fault but power in the area went off from about 9-12. No notice posted or info forthcoming from receptionist as to cause or likely length of the outage. We could not charge our phones obviously and with an early start were afraid to go asleep until we had power to ensure our alarms went off so we didn't even get a night's sleep. The kids ate their grotty pizza by the torchlight from our phone and went straight to bed as they could not watch a movie as they had hoped and no Internet of course. No drinks because vending machine out too. None of us could shower as there was no light to do so. After travelling we all felt dirty and desperately wanted to shower. If you do decide to stay here be aware that there is at least one other IBIS at the airport so be careful you book the one you want. The absolute worst place I have ever stayed. I felt very sorry for the one guy left there to run it on his own. Even before the power went out he had no working printer writing everything out by hand.

Hotel chosen by chance, for one night. 'We were very well welcomed by a young woman who even made us a discount. Astonishing, but clean room and very much. Glorious breakfast. No blame to do, on the contrary.

This hotel is especially new. The room is large. The bathroom is also large. The decoration style is very similar to the domestically decorated and stylish business hotel. But it is very clean. There is a kettle in the room. The location is also good. It is next door to Chantilly.

Having stayed several times at the Auberge du Jeu de Paume we were not disappointed with our latest visit. The welcome was its usual rapid and very friendly self, and one immediately gets the feeling of being at home. The hotel is very well sited for cultural and sporting events- the Chateau is just along the road and the racecourse right opposite with easy airport and motorway access. The room was beautifully presented with a large terrace overlooking the immaculate grounds. Dinner in the gastronomic restaurant was a little under par but still good. The new chef-until recently the No2 I believe- is still to find his way and some of the flavours were confused and seemed to be added for effect rather than being helpful. The white asparagus was excellent but the lamb was disappointing, consisting of a small finger of lamb with a very thick coating of fat. Hopefully the chef will find his own way soon. However highly recommended and we will be back for sure.
