A nice family hotel where dogs are allowed , next to the river Ruwer, a side river of the Mosel. The Hotel is in the middle of the steep grape vines and you can make a nice wal;k of 4 or 8 km climing around the grape vines with a magnificant view. The hotel is near Trier, an old Roman city with a nice city centre along the river Mosel

A lovely place, good rooms, good restaurant, very helpful and kind staff. Just 15 minutes from Trier. Many walks and the Mosel. A small river passes by the estate. Excellent value for money. The estate produces very good wine. The whole setting is sort of bucolic, with cattle, geese and chicken.

Heel leuk hotel. Kamers waren perfect mooi en netjes, er was niks tekort. Genoten van het restaurant en lekkere wijn gedronken het eten was prima. Het ontbijt was goed we hadden niks tekort. Vriendelijk personeel.

Leuk hotel, op een mooie locatie, keurige kamers, heerlijke bedden, beetje slappe kussens, maar dat is in veel hotels, erg fijn dat er rolluiken zijn, de kamer is dan lekker donker, en je kan het raam en de deur open houden. Hotel ligt op 9 km van Trier centrum af, het is mooi om daar te fietsen wij zijn met de auto geweest en prima parkeren in de stad. Het ontbijt is prima, div. Broodjes, vleeswaren eitjes gekookt of geklutst. Yoghurt,vers fruit, div. Musli of cornflakes. Hoe de kaart is weten wij niet, wij hebben gegeten in Trier.

Sehr gemütliches Hotel. Alles sauber und heimelig. Wir kommen sicher nochmal im Sommer wieder. Die Terrasse sieht sehr einladend aus. Selten einen so schönen Biergarten gesehen. Wahrscheinlich der schönste der ganzen Region.

Wat stroeve ontvangst, en rommelig, lawaaiig en stoffig vanwege renovatie/asfaltering terrein rondom hotel. Dus wat vraagtekens in het begin. Toch bleek dit een prima hotel te zijn. Uitstekende kamer (no 3), begane grond, gerenoveerd, efficient, alles werkte, badkamer met glijdende douchestang ( werkt in veel hotels niet...) iedere morgen opmaak bed. Buiten 2 stoelen met tafeltje met zicht op groenvlakte, en bijna de hele dag uit de zon. Kamer dus lekker fris bij deze hitte. Overigens geen airco, geen koelkastje, geen kluisje. Ontbijt prima. Diner vooraf reserveren. Heel kleine kaart, alleen soep als voorgerecht, schnitzel en forel als hoofdgerecht, maar wel lekker ijsje na, en wel 75 digestiefjes... (probeer de walnootlikeur...) ! Keuken vooral bekend voor zijn Flammkuchen. Daar hebben ze 5 soorten van ! En op het terras buiten is het heerlijk toeven en eten met een vlotte en leuke bediening. En het smaakte allemaal prima. Ja, toch wel een ruime 8 ! En op donderdag buiten in de zomermaanden leuke live-muziek door wisselende artiesten.

Wir haben die Karlsmühle als Zwischenstopp auf unserer Rückreise von Südfrankreich nach Mecklenburg-Vorpommern gewählt und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Unser geräumtes Zimmer mit Balkon zur rauschenden Ruwer war gut und mit bequemen Betten ausgestattet. Abends haben wir unter alten Kastanien im wirklich schönen Biergarten gut gegessen und einen hervorragenden Riesling getrunken (Kas‘ler Nieschen - eine echte Empfehlung!), die jungen Damen im Service waren ausgesprochen freundlich. So macht auch das Ende eines Urlaubes Spaß!
