From the house you are able to view the Delatite River, Merrijig and surrounds and the popular Alpine Mountain of Mount Buller.There is plenty of space for cars, boats and motorbikes as the property is located close to many lakes (Lake Eildon & Bonnie Doon) and a great choice of dirt bike tracks too. This property is located in a small court of only a few homes and is placed at the back closest to the river.The large Primary bedroom with a King bed looks onto the backyard and river and encompasses an ensuite bathroom. The other two large bedrooms include a Queen bed and two bunks with one having a double bed below.The open plan kitchen area has all European appliances with a large island bench to enjoy as well as a family sized dining table.The outdoor decking has a fireplace and tv that overlooks the backyard and the river. After a long day on the ski fields, why not relax and unwind in the 10-man spa located at the rear of the property next to the outdoor deck area.The photos do not justify what is there. Riverdell Cottage is a cosy, peaceful and well-equipped 3 bedroom home that provides a perfect base for your next holiday. It is ideally located; nestled among trees and with a north-facing open deck to view the nearby hills, Riverdell is an easy 4 minute drive to the entrance of Mount Buller. Riverdell Cottage is ideal for a large family or a couple of smaller families as it accommodates 8 people (or up to 10 people with the use of the double sofa bed in the lounge; extra charge). The two main bedrooms (one with a full ensuite) each have a queen bed with electric blankets, the third bedroom has two sturdy bunk beds. The lounge room has an expansive comfy couch from which to enjoy the central wood heater, chill with a good book, or to relax and watch a movie. There is a games table with plenty of games to keep everyone happy and entertained. The well-equipped kitchen has a microwave, coffee plunger and sandwich press in addition to the familiar kitchen appliances. Riverdell has a main bathroom with separate toilet and laundry facilities. From the deck outside, you can enjoy listening to the gurgle of the Delatite River, appreciate the wildlife, or watch your friends and family throw a frisbee or vortex or play trackball (all provided) in the expansive reserve that abuts the rear of the property. A short walk will take you down to the River so you can cool down on a hot day or even try your hand at fishing. There is plenty to do in every season; enjoy snow sports atop Mt Buller, engage in mountain biking - including the Australian Alpine Epic Trail - all over Mt Buller and Mt Stirling, explore the many hiking trails and historic huts in the area, visit the Mirimbah park and playground, and explore the high country via 4 wheel driving, horse back, or dirt biking. Bustling Mansfield is also less than 20 minutes away.
