BreakFree Diamond Beach

We have stayed here twice now and both times have been great. Excellent location and great rooms although could be a little cleaner but overall we had a great time & staff are really helpful

Cockroaches everywhere, both dead and alive. There were soap pieces in the shower and hair from former tenants. There were also stains on the sofa and generally dirty. They also charged us a fee for poor cleaning. They said they had picture proof, but when we requested to see the pictures, they never answered.

We loved our stay at Breakfree Diamond Beach. The room and pools were beautiful. We were poolside so just went through the balcony gate to the pool area. There are three pools, cold, warm, and a couple of warmer spas so you can find the perfect temperature. They do a wonderful job keeping the gardens and pools clean. We had a fabulous time swimming every day. Proximity to the beach was great. The staff at reception were super helpful and friendly. The midstay room service changed the towels and sheets but didn’t seem to clean anything so the floor and bathroom felt a bit dirty by the end of our stay. Overall we had a lovely stay and would go back.

Don’t be fooled by the photos… this place is next level awful. Booked well ahead for a family getaway as has stayed there many years before. Paid for a 3 bedroom deluxe apartment which supposedly had been FULLY REFURBISHED. What a disaster, mouldy, dirty, un-refurbished craphole. Arrived & immediately asked for a refund which was duly declined. I stood my ground and offered to stay in reception as it was at least clean (ish) with randoms coming and going heading towards the pool. After some tense discussion with the receptionist guy who didn’t seem too interested I managed to get hold of Accor call centre who at least were a little understanding and finally agreed to refund less a booking fee, should have paid us in my opinion for misleading advertising. DON’T WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY!

Great location, nice pool. Great in room facilities ability to cook your own food is a great thing in the current economic environment. I highly recommend this resort for any young families that are planning a getaway. Local restaurants are lovely and I short walk to Broadbeach.

Every holiday at Gold Coast we book at this resort! Loved the place over tye years, but it's going backwards a bit. The amenities are still great and neat, but the units are getting old, dirty and aren't very well looked after. We enjoyed our stay, but come on management..... we pay hefty $$$ per night, please start looking after the units. We had to do a proper clean when we arrived as it was terribly dirty and mouldy!!
