Hampton Inn & Suites Boise-Meridian

I was very disappointed in the pet policy. For 1 46 lb golden doodle who is a perfect guest, no barking, clean and gentle nature, we were charged $75 for the pet fee. That fee is nonrefundable. I have stayed at this particular motel several times with no complaints. I will think twice about staying there in the future. This fee is twice as much as the regular boarding at an upscale kennel.

Overall good, room a bit small Hotel was updated and clean. Check in staff and breakfast staff were very friendly and helpful. On their A game as far as customer service goes! Breakfast was great and plenty of variety. Only reason for mark down is our room was small compared to other hotels we usually stay at so felt cramped with having several kids with us. Just enough room to walk around the side of each bed (2 queens). No fan in the bathroom and bathroom smelled a bit musty, but we didn’t spend too much time in there so not a deal breaker. Overall, would stay there again if a larger room was available for our family.

My family stayed here for our Spring Break vacation and it was very good. I called about a week ahead to get extra pillows and they were there when we checked in. When we arrived, we got in late. A lot of hotels seem to shut down their pool at 9, 10 or even 11 pm. This place doesn’t close the pool/hot tub until midnight! It was nice to go for a swim after the long day. There was a front desk employee (I wish I got her name) who offered a free snack from their snack area to my 7 year old because it was her birthday! That was pretty cool. The breakfast every morning from 6-10 is really nice. They’ve got almost everything you could think of. They even have some “hot” options from the kitchen that rotate, so there’s a different selection every day. I only have two small complaints. When I called to get the extra pillows, I also called about a pack n play for my son and THAT was not in the room upon check-in. But I talked to the front desk about it and she brought it up in like 5 minutes. The other small complaint was I asked about filling our water bottles and they offered smart water from their snack area. I got two 1 Liter bottles…they were $5 EACH! I was more annoyed when I found a water filling station at the bathrooms by the swimming pool & the front desk never mentioned that while I was buying $5 water bottles! So I used that water filling station the rest of the trip! All in all, it was a good stay and I’ll stay there again the next time I’m in the Boise area!

The staff was so friendly and helpful. Every employee I interacted with was kind and helpful. The front desk staff, the room cleaners, and the breakfast staff were wonderful. Breakfast was fantastic! They had options for everyone! My children loved the pool area. Will definitely stay again!

Every time we come to Boise, the staff treats us like gold. They are very helpful, very friendly, and go o out of their way to make us feel welcome.
