"This time I came to Merida to attend an international conference. Although this hotel is a little far from the city center, the taxi fare is only about 80MXN each time. The hotel quality is super good, breakfast is served from 6 o'clock, and the cost performance is super high! Highly recommended!"
"Located on the edge of Saint ana Square, plaza saint lucia a line, the owner also runs hotel casa maya, and the deduction account uses hotel. The owner is very tasteful. He lives in the master room. The three rooms are decorated for hotel use. The housekeeper and chef will serve you. The three rooms are very beautiful, the public space is huge and open to rest, and the room on the second floor has a balcony. The only downside is the double bed, not King queen bed!"
"The service is very good. Just got off the plane. Originally checkin your time very late. The accommodation directly arranged is very good. The room is average. There is no facing inside, room type, good."
"As before, highly recommended a real gem for this price.
We extended our stay because we liked it here so much, it’s perfect to relax.
And we going to miss the huge comfortable bed."
"Good location. It gets noisy in the morning - the road is nearby.
Bad location of the air conditioner - it blows directly on the bed, at night it needs to be set to minimum, otherwise it will blow.
The hotel has its own parking, a big plus.
Cons: the room could not be locked from the outside, the lock did not work; it needs to be repaired"
"I stayed in Residence Inn Merida for a month in January 2024. I liked the location and services. It’s very close to the Galleria Mall, Costco and a large grocery store. You can take bus R72 to Central Merida which is very convenient if you don’t have a car or don’t want to drive. The room is clean and equipped with full kitchen. The breakfast is included. The front desk staffs are also helpful. They helped us to arrange two private day trips to Maya sites and cenotes. The only thing I would recommend is to improve the quality and add more choices to the breakfast. Not many varieties of breakfast. The refrigerator is a little bit noisy at night."
"The facilities are new and sanitary. They are cleaned every day. The staff are super patient and very good. I went straight to check in at 8 o'clock that morning and didn't say anything. I gave full marks to this point. The location of the hotel is pretty good in Merida. It’s probably more convenient to drive next to the main street of the boulevard and not far from the bus station. I don’t know why Ctrip scores so low."
"Great location, located in a mall.
There’s a 24/7 pharmacy and Oxxo on the ground floor.
Didn’t try the hotel breakfast, room pretty basic and rather small."

Amazing
GGrace Ridnour-NollschGorgeous boutique hotel with staff that goes above and beyond. The heir of the estate actually greets guests and ensures they have a pleasant stay. We only got to stay for one night, but they upgraded our room and allowed us to enjoy the pool as we arrived early and they needed time to get the room ready. It is worth the price.

AAnonymous UserGood hotel in the city center, walking distance of main square. Rooms was nice and confortable after a long day outside in the heat. Enjoyable pool as well. The staff is very welcoming and available for helping with all requests. Very good breakfast. No problem to park our car in the corner street.

Great
HHazel AxfordThe staff and the hotel were wonderful! I was travelling as a solo female and I felt very safe and well taken care of. The location is perfect, it’s next to
the avenue of all the best restaurants and a short walk to the historic center. The air con in the room was an absolute blessing (Merida is hotttt!), the room felt really luxurious and the pool was a welcome necessity in the heat. I’d happily recommend Casa Tavera to everyone and anyone.

GGuest UserWhat a great little capsul hostel. It’s a little way from the main areas in Merida, but only a 10-15 min walk, so fine overall. The place it spotlessly clean. You get towel and bedding. The doors in the capsule lock which is great for a sense of security and they are very private. The aircon can be a bit aggressive so ask for a blanket which they have. I don’t have the waffles in the end, but I smashed the free coffee and tea ! Staff were soo very welcoming and kind to me. I would highly recommend this accommodation either for a short or long stay. Get it booked !

EEstrella 星星Great hotel option right in the heart of Merida. This is an old house with lovely architectural style and character.
The rooms are spacious, service is great, and the swimming pool is nice!
The only detail is that I asked for some toothpaste and they didn't have (bring yours along), and I had to go out to get one (not far, plenty of convenience stores around).
I recommend it 100%

GGuest UserHorrible service! They first gave us to a room which was fine upon entering but then we saw people’s clothes and shoes. We went back to reception. She said that her colleague made mistake and gave our room away to someone else without putting in the system. She gave us another room which was smelly like hell! I asked her to change or refund. She said its the only room left and she knows its smelly and she was sorry but she couldn’t do anything. She could only put us to another room the next day. She also refused to compensate. It was midnight. We had no local sim card so had no choice but to stay. At night there was lots of noise from boiler/machine so we couldn’t sleep. It ruined our holiday. They changed us to a different room next day but refused to compensate. We had to suffer at our own cost! The location is god and the room after changed was fine. But they made us suffer for their mistake yet refused to compensate! Such a shame for a hotel to behave like this! So if you don’t want surprise or ruin your holiday, try to avoid this hotel!

GGuest UserThe pool is nice and the hotel is located a few blocks away from the main attractions in downtown. The best part of this experience was the hotel staff. They were extra helpful and kind. Always ready to help in whatever you need. The only complaint I have is the cleanliness in the room. There was dust in some parts of the room and the sheets weren't very clean. They didn't change them. Also, the pillows aren't comfortable. But the rest of the hotel is not bad at all for the price. I slept well, the ac works well. I would stay there again.

CCarolina SalasbI loved the hotel except that the cleaning in the room was not very good, the sheet was dirty, what I did was remove it but I would recommend cleaning over saving water.
PPinkShoshannaThe staff has been super helpful in accommodating our requests when we asked to change the rooms and more towels. They also recommended places to visit nearby. The location is very busy: in front of the ado station you have the option to jump directly in a bus but the neighbourhood is of course what it is around a station. Very close to the market, you need to walk 20’ to the central square to find the pretty part of merida. Clean was clean, but the amenities have to be reviewed: no mirror in the room, very small sink, the window in the bathroom couldn’t be closed and there was no hairdryer.
