Beautiful boutique hotel. Our room was comfortable and lovely, and the hotel itself is artfully furnished and decorated. We had a healthy and delicious breakfast. BEST thing - the concierge Edgar. Friendly and helpful, and knows anything you’d ever need to ask. What a treasure!

I’ve had the pleasure of staying at Casa Flor de Mayo multiple times, most recently in May 2024, and it never disappoints! The service here is consistently outstanding—the staff are incredibly friendly, attentive, and always ready to help with a warm smile. The hotel itself is spotless and comfortable, providing a cozy and relaxing environment after a day of exploring Mérida. The owner, Matt, is exceptionally welcoming and always willing to share amazing recommendations for places to visit. Thanks to him, I’ve discovered some great spots I wouldn’t have found otherwise. Additionally, I’ve hired Rafael, a driver recommended by the hotel, on multiple occasions. He’s professional, knowledgeable, and a fantastic resource for getting around Mérida and the surrounding areas. Other members of my family have also used his services and had great experiences. The location is another big plus. It’s perfectly situated near the corredor gastronómico and just a short walk from Paseo de Montejo, making it easy to enjoy some of Mérida’s best dining and cultural attractions. Casa Flor de Mayo feels like a home away from home, and I can’t recommend it enough. I look forward to staying here again on my next visit to Mérida!

He's a great source of information for anything you may need. The hotel itself is a haven of comfort. The lovely courtyard and serene pool were perfect spots to unwind after a day of sightseeing. Every morning, I enjoyed a delicious breakfast featuring fresh fruits and omelettes in a cozy dining area. Also, had great conversations with the staff and got to know more about the local culture. Casa Flor de Mayo's central location made it easy to explore Merida's main attractions while still offering a peaceful retreat from the city's hustle and bustle. In summary, my stay at Casa Flor de Mayo was exceptional. The warm, welcoming atmosphere, combined with Matt's personalized recommendations, made for an unforgettable visit to Merida. I highly recommend Casa Flor de Mayo for anyone seeking a memorable stay in this beautiful city.

Nice property. No services to speak of. Owner is very friendly and seems to always be there. Very pretty hotel. A bit of a walk to shops and restaurants, so the location is not ideal. Somewhat overpriced for what you get.

Beautiful hotel and amazing staff. The hotel is very inviting, nicely decorated, from the outside to the pool, the breakfast area and the rooms. It’s so cozy, you feel at home immediately. Very friendly and welcoming reception. The owner and all of the staff are amazing! Everyone is very helpful, has plenty of suggestions depending on your preferences, for food or trips in the area. The ladies making breakfast are so kind! We made use of the kitchen/dining area and they have filtered water. We were on a road trip and had a few more stops to go. We decided to come back at the end of our trip to stay another night.
