We spent one night at Hacienda Sotuta de Peón and it truly exceeded our expectations. The location is magical—tucked away in the jungle, peaceful and full of charm. Our room was very spacious, clean, and comfortable, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. Dinner at the restaurant was absolutely delicious, full of local flavors and beautifully presented. The henequén tour was super informative and well-paced, and finishing it off with a swim in the cenote was an unforgettable experience. Highly recommend this place if you're looking for something authentic and unique in the Yucatán.

We really enjoyed this place. It's beautiful and serene and gave us a glimpse into life in the "outback". The property and staff are welcoming and the animals wandering around are so charming. The tour is terrific. I loved the small gift shop....which was full of treasures made on site. The only downside for us was the fixed menu at dinner (there was a choice between 2 entrees) which just isn't a favorite set up for us, personally. If I did it over again, I would still stay two (or more) nights but not opt in for dinner and have a late lunch off of the regular menu in the breakfast/lunch dining area. Wonderful place to unwind and relax.

Un hermoso lugar para disfrutar, conocer y relajarse, el recorrido es una gran experiencia, ya que te explican cada parte de la hacienda, el proceso del henequen para obtener la fibra, se visita el cenote, pero lo mágico es la experiencia de la carreta jalada por el caballo; la comida deliciosa 😋, la tiendita excelente (quisieras comprar todooooo), sin duda un lugar hermoso y acogedor. Y lo más importante de todo, el personal, excelente atención, todos siempre con la mejor disposición y con la mejor actitud. Hacienda Sotuta de Peón un lugar mágico que tienes que visitar ❤️❤️❤️

En esta hacienda tienes la oportunidad de ver el procesamiento del henequén tal como era en la época del "oro verde" y está padrísimo. Además el guía Cristóbal con su pasión te transporta en el tiempo, además en el grupo habían personas de distintas nacionalidades y logró dar el tour en perfecto español e inglés manteniendo el interés de todos por igual. El cenote es hermoso y el guarda vidas Ovi, es súper amable y agradable. La recomiendo 100%!!
