"My friend and I booked this hotel after our previous booking at a different hotel fell through. We were extremely happy with our stay here at the Eclipse Hotel and would recommend it to anyone staying in Yogyakarta. We enjoyed the pool immensely and the restaurants within walking distance. It’s a quiet neighborhood as well. It’s truly a hidden jem!"

"Friendly staff at the reception! Room was ready for early check-in when I arrived a few hours before 2.00pm. Amenities were fine, but complimentary water provided in the room was pretty limited, in small 300ml glass bottles. Housekeeping proactively topped up soap and shampoo after my first night."

"Let's say the value for money is very high. Nice enviroment with beautiful pool in the middle, big rooms, nice atmosphere. Staff very nice and helpful. In Prawirotaman, nearby lots of choices in terms of restaurants and bars.
Some suggestions: improve the breakfast, change the wood doors and windows (not working properly, entering light, noise and mosquitos), have more strong lights in the bathroom and CLEAN betterly the venue."

Zzaaa_the location of this hotel is very good, close to artshops, souvenir shops, bars & lounges, bakeries, coffee shops, circle-K, and mosques. the service is friendly and good but the elevator access facility is a little difficult if you go with your family, because the room card becomes an elevator access card at the same time. but it is not a problem if you are a solo traveler.

JJanetWhat a fabulous guest house. The rooms are lovely and uniquely designed with artwork and furnishings, giving it a curated appeal. Staff are so genuine and attentive, making friendly conversation and sharing helpful info on visiting the temples, local warungs to try, etc. Daily breakfasts were delicious, varied (a choice of three things, with new dishes as well), and plentiful. The pool area was sublime and the location in the lanes off the main streets makes it an oasis in this busy city. Highly recommended.

NNNedevRooms were worse than the pictures would have you expect. Simple things like shampoo or hairdryer were not available. I had to upgrade to a better room as the first one had dampness in the walls, but even in the better room, windows were not possible to open. Staff was polite but overall experience was bad and not reflective of the price or pictures.

DDMerylAdhisthana was a good value. My room was next to pool. The public spaces have nice ambience - local culture. Services were good including with breaking down large bills and for temples tours. Inside rooms could improve - better quality furniture and proper on tlets for travelers to charge their technology. Also need a mini refrigerator.

- Great location, it is easy to find any food courts from steak house, coffee shop, gelato
- Fast check in process but you have to put your ID Card in the front office during your stay
- Quite place because it is not to close to the main road
- There is hot water and good AC
- Big enough parking area for motorcycle and cars
- Good service from hotel staf to accomodate our request
Cons :
- We have stained bed sheets and thin pillows
- No tissue
- The room is not sound proof
- At that time we have to ask for bath towels which is should be in place along with toileteries

GGuest UserA cozy place to stay. Staffs are so helpful, friendly and very efficient in their services. Only setback is their rubbish along the corridor needs to be emptied before all get full. Some guests also smoke along the corridor and that is so unhealthy for others who wish to hang out outside their room, to have their breakfast etc. Perhaps the management should provide designated smoking area for hotel guests.
