We were extremely happy with our stay here at the Eclipse Hotel and would recommend it to anyone staying in Yogyakarta. We enjoyed the pool immensely and the restaurants within walking distance. It’s a quiet neighborhood as well. It’s truly a hidden jem!"

"Let's say the value for money is very high. Nice enviroment with beautiful pool in the middle, big rooms, nice atmosphere. Staff very nice and helpful. In Prawirotaman, nearby lots of choices in terms of restaurants and bars.
Some suggestions: improve the breakfast, change the wood doors and windows (not working properly, entering light, noise and mosquitos), have more strong lights in the bathroom and CLEAN betterly the venue."

Zzaaa_the location of this hotel is very good, close to artshops, souvenir shops, bars & lounges, bakeries, coffee shops, circle-K, and mosques. the service is friendly and good but the elevator access facility is a little difficult if you go with your family, because the room card becomes an elevator access card at the same time. but it is not a problem if you are a solo traveler.

HHalouqiuqiuIf you like country style and southern French style, you must not miss it. The service staff is enthusiastic. The hotel is very beautiful, with a lot of green plants, a new view at every step, and frangipani scattered everywhere by the swimming pool. The room pest control is very good, but the design of the door bolt makes people feel a little unsafe inside. The breakfast is also good, ordering style, two American breakfasts, and you can also choose local breakfast, with many varieties. I have eaten a lot of local food in three visits to Indonesia, and I actually ate the most delicious fried noodles here! There is a big supermarket and restaurant bar next to it, which is also very convenient. Love it and will recommend it to friends!

JJanetWhat a fabulous guest house. The rooms are lovely and uniquely designed with artwork and furnishings, giving it a curated appeal. Staff are so genuine and attentive, making friendly conversation and sharing helpful info on visiting the temples, local warungs to try, etc. Daily breakfasts were delicious, varied (a choice of three things, with new dishes as well), and plentiful. The pool area was sublime and the location in the lanes off the main streets makes it an oasis in this busy city. Highly recommended.

The rooms are clean, the staff is friendly and the location is very strategic. It’s just 5 minutes from Malioboro for shopping, and right next to the famous Tempo Gelato. There are plenty of coffee shops and food options nearby, making it easy to find something to eat. The service is excellent—food arrives in under 30 minutes and the spa offers relaxing in-room massages. Plus, the plugs work with all devices, so there’s no need for a travel adapter. Highly recommended for a comfortable, convenient and budget-friendly stay!

AAnonymous UserA newly renovated hotel, a combination of green and white. The room is spacious, the television is equipped with netflix and other channels. But there is no water heater in the room (maybe hotel can be considered in the future so that water heater will be there).
Unfortunately the AC in our room leaked for 2 days. The parking lot is poorly lit, wifi signal is low when we held online meeting, network badwith is low, but the staff is very friendly and the location is close to Parawirotaman area.

FFrancisGreat boutique hotel in Prawirotaman. Rooms are compact, but have everything you need for a stay. I didn’t book breakfast, but there were lots of options within walking distance. There is street food and also sit down restaurants in the main Prawirotaman Street which is behind the hotel. Fun to take in the area and its street art. Only downside is rooms have patio doors, so it’s difficult to air them out properly and not get mosquitoes.

- Fast check in process but you have to put your ID Card in the front office during your stay
- Quite place because it is not to close to the main road
- There is hot water and good AC
- Big enough parking area for motorcycle and cars
- Good service from hotel staf to accomodate our request
Cons :
- We have stained bed sheets and thin pillows
- No tissue
- The room is not sound proof
- At that time we have to ask for bath towels which is should be in place along with toileteries

GGuest UserA cozy place to stay. Staffs are so helpful, friendly and very efficient in their services. Only setback is their rubbish along the corridor needs to be emptied before all get full. Some guests also smoke along the corridor and that is so unhealthy for others who wish to hang out outside their room, to have their breakfast etc. Perhaps the management should provide designated smoking area for hotel guests.
