Mercersburg Inn

My room was equipped with everything I needed (even including earplugs - which I didn’t need!). The bed was super comfortable, and the towels thick and fluffy. My only mild complaint was that the bed sheets must have been washed and/or dried with scented washing liquid/ dryer sheets, specifically “Gain”; I intensely dislike that scent, and prefer the use of unscented products (a personal choice). The breakfast and dinner both were excellent, and the owner, Tomi, delightful. I highly recommend this Inn.

We spent our birthday weekend at the Inn. The room was comfortable and the room with the bar contained beautiful fireplace that the staff would like for us when we asked. The highlight, however, was the wonderful meal we ate in the restaurant on our birthday night. (My husband and I share the same birthday and so having a lovely meal just added to thecelebration.) I would recommend the Mercersburg to anyone who wants a lovely place to stay and a wonderful meal for any kind of celebration.

The Mercersburg Inn has maintained its charm over the years. It is an excellent place for a quiet getaway.

The entire staff was absolutely wonderful, they truly seem to enjoy what they do and take the time and care to make your stay special. We stayed in the prospect and it was an absolutely beautiful room. The pillows and bedding are extremely high quality, I would honestly love to know where they found those! Reserving dinner was extremely easy and their in house restaurant is exceptional. Check in and out is extremely easy. They have loads of entertainment and things to do there. There was not a TV in the room which was a huge plus to me. I would also like to note it is extremely clean.

A beautiful inn with the most beautiful aesthetic. It was very clean with the best hospitality! We and my boyfriend planned a couple getaway to skiing and this inn was perfect for us. As someone who loves history, I adored the photo book kept in the rooms. A timeless inn that I'm looking forward to coming back too no matter the occasion.

The Mercersburg Inn was a wonderful place to lay my head after a long day of driving down from Boston on a road trip. I had a broken foot and they helped me with my bags, the dining room was charming and the food was delicious (I had scallops and risotto for dinner — highly recommend!). There was even live music in the dining room and it was wonderful for the ambiance (not too loud, just right!) My room was lovely and put me back into the 1900s in terms of its lovely antique furnishings. But the very comfortable bed and pillows, soft robe and free WiFi provided modern comforts as well. Breakfast was served, not a buffet, which I loved. And the innkeeper gave me a gift bag with snacks and waters for my journey the next day. She even hooked me up with bags of ice for my cooler. I really appreciated the extra touches and above and beyond attention they gave me. The setting and surrounding gardens are beautiful and there are plenty of comfy seats on the wraparound porch to enjoy the watching the sun set beyond the mountains. This is definitely more than just a B&B, it's a wonderful inn experience. I would definitely return for a weekend out in the beautiful Pennsylvania rolling countryside.
