Raffles Maldives Meradhoo Resort

Do not think. Just book it for paradise..

My bestie and I recently visited Raffles Maldives Meradhoo for a girls trip together. We had the best time! It was a very long journey coming from the West Coast, but I would do the long journey again to come back as it was so amazing! From the moment we landed in Velanaa International airport in Male and connected with the Raffles representative it was smooth sailing. He was so nice and helped us with our luggage and our Visas. He got us on the plane to take us to the boat that took us to the Raffles resort. When we arrived at Raffles Maldives Meradhoo we were warmly greeted by our butler Yasir and the rest the crew. They did a welcome ritual with drums and gave us coconut water fresh in young coconuts. It was awesome! Yasir showed us to our Villa and helped us settle in. The entire experience was so great! We absolutely loved the food, there are multiple restaurants to choose from to eat breakfast, lunch and dinner. The meal choices were endless and the fish was so fresh and delicious! Always offering us fruit, juices and smoothies and fresh baked variety of breads and muffins. We really enjoyed chatting with Toshar the resident Wine and Sake Sommelier. He is such a doll! We booked massages at the beautiful spa almost daily. The spa is incredible! The view from the spa is stunning turquoise water and there is even a glass bottom to view sealife during your massage! The girls at the spa are so experienced and really helped us relax and heal. They are all so kind and genuine. We enjoyed going to The Long Bar and ordering custom specialty cocktails from Rangar who is a complete sweet heart! The service is 5 star! We were entertained and taken such great care of by Mizy and Monku for most our meals. Absolutely adored both of them! We will miss seeing their smiling faces! We had such a fantastic time! Appa guided us out on Jet Skis to a sand bar and was so much fun! He was a great teacher as I had never driven a jet ski before. We enjoyed taking the boat taxi back and forth from the Villa island over to the main island for various restaurants, the water sports center, the Long Bar, shopping in the cutest Boutique and the Spa. The boat captain and his crew were all so fun and kind. Actor always received us on the boat dock with a big smile and hand out to get us safely on and off the boat. The villa had all the needed amenities and was so clean and welcoming. The bed and pillows were amazing, so so so comfortable. We loved just chilling at our Villa, swimming in the pool with a vanishing edge making us feel connected to the ocean. Waking up and drinking coffee with that beautiful view of blue, green and turquoise water was magical. I can’t remember their names but the Security and manager were both so full of personality and helpful too. Last but not least our most wonderful butler Yasir made our stay so pleasant. He handled all our various reservations and needs making it so relaxing. All the special touches from Yasi
