Vibra Blanc Palace Aparthotel
3.6/560 Reviews
Forget all the negative reviews! Yes the rooms are a bit dated but they are clean (and are cleaned daily), the beds are comfortable and there is everything you need. I did need a corkscrew for a bottle of wine but one request to reception and 2 hours later they delivered a brand new one to my room (1009 if anyone needs to borrow it). I believe the hotel is recently under new management and we only paid around £60 a night. I'm sure the price will go up as this gem is discovered by more people so I'd book fast if I were you! The area is beautiful. You have 4 pools to choose from and a beach all within 2 or 3 mins from the accommodation. There is a bar selling snacks and drinks by the main pool at reasonable prices (4.50€ for a pint and 4€ for chips) and also a bar on the beach (not owned by the hotel) that also sells drinks and snacks.(5.50€ a pint) Entertainment is good, hotel restaurant is also good (buffet style) and reasonably priced, (16 euros for adults, 11 for kids) however they do have limited child options if you've got a fussy eater like I have!! No chicken nuggets or pizza so he had chips, pasta, bread rolls and his own weight in ice cream!! I had paella, spicy potatoes and some tapas but they had a wide range of fish, meat and vegetarian dishes available. The staff are all incredibly friendly and hard working although did smirk kindly at my clumsy attempt at Spanish... I'll get better!! A special shout out to Alexandra who was very kind and helpful. She speaks 6 languages so I didn't even attempt my Spanish with her!! Overall my son and I are having a lovely time and plan to bring the rest of the family next time.
Hotel Patricia Menorca

This was a really lovely small hotel. It is very close to the centre of Cuitadella old town, which meant that it was close to some excellent restuarants, including our favourite Moriarty. The staff at the hotel were exceptional - every member of staff was efficient, helpful and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble for them, from the waitress at breakfast, the reception staff and the cleaners. Our room, I have to say was basic but it had a very comfortable bed and a great shower. Plenty of coat hangers, a safe and a fridge and although there was no kettle there was one for general use in the lounge area by reception. Complimentary water by the glass was also available from a dispenser by reception. The swimming pool as gorgeous. Very clean and a good size for swimming lengths and towels can be obtained from reception. Lovely seating area around the pool as well with sun beds and also relaxing sofas and chairs. Breakfast was good with a selection of cereals, fruit, breads and pastries, smoked salmon, scrambled eggs and bacon. Coffee from the machine was excellent. Wifi was also excellent and for those who want it there were English TV channels available. A/C also worked well.

They kept us waiting to get in. Almost an hour before check out they wanted to kick us out bothering us in the room. The breakfasts and dinners were always missing things and there was a lack of cleaning.

We enjoyed our stay here. Staff were very nice and helpful. Breakfast was good, the addition of maybe a small cooking station for omelettes, pancakes, waffles or similar would be nice? Additional tea/coffee/hot water machines would also help things. There is a microwave to heat food but please be careful when removing your plate as didn't see anything to lift hot plate with. Toaster was the usual hotel slow one and usually took two runs to get actual toast! Had dinner twice at the hotel, plenty of choice and good quality but the usual hotel complaint that the food was lukewarm. Drinks were fairly expensive but plenty of choice and many well-known brands as well as their own Menorca wines, gin etc, which was good to see. Lunch menu was lovely and we really enjoyed anything ordered from that. We had a room on the 5th floor with a view towards Es Castell and Cala Fonts. Got the sun in the morning and then in shade for the rest of the day. This suited us perfectly as it was still very hot when we were there the 1st week in September and it was so nice to sit on the balcony with a nice breeze in the afternoon. The air con is okay but could do with being updated as not very powerful and very noisy. The wardrobes need shelves in them! Apart from the one that the safe sits on there are no shelves. There is also nowhere to hang wet towels, swimwear etc. An extendable drier on the balcony would be great! Cleaning of the room was great and nice to have the option not to have it done every day as really wasn't necessary. Fridge wasn't great and by the time we were leaving appeared to have stopped working completely - I did let them know this when checking out. Beds were good and so were the pillows. No plug point next to the kettle which seemed strange 🤔. Plenty of good restaurants within 5 to 10 minutes walk from the hotel. Enjoyed any we ate at apart from one. Personally we thought Nikkis was overpriced and the steaks were not great. Bus stop for Mahon was less than 5 minutes walk from the hotel and then from Mahon you can get to lots of other places on the island. We were looking forward to walking to Mahon but due to the heat we didn't attempt it (38 on at least one of the days! ). Hope some of the above information is helpful, most of the things I have said are observations and suggestions and are not complaints! We did enjoy our holiday and would think of returning to this hotel on our next trip to Menorca.
Seranova Luxury Hotel - Adults Only

My husband, myself and my sister stayed at the Seranova for the first time and we were really pleased with our choice. The room was very clean and had a little balcony which although there wasn’t room to sit out I loved watching the people walking by and going into the nearby shops. The bathroom was huge with a bath and a shower for two people to shower together! Breakfast was delicious and different each day. You could ask for a breakfast of eggs and bacon which was made by the staff . The receptionists were all lovely and very helpful. We will definitely be back to this super hotel next year.
Sagitario Playa

Just returned from a 7 day break at Sagitario Playa Hotel Really couldn’t fault it. Very relaxing, which is what my partner Sue and I wanted. The hotel was very very clean and the pool was cleaned every day including a man going out every morning at 7.30 to clear all away the leaves that had fallen from the trees during the night. The food, which was Buffet style was very varied, with lots of choice, some to my liking some not, but there was plenty to enjoy, the Carved Roast Beef was excellent. The entertainment was always enjoyable and the Saturday night Dancing, compared very much to Strictly with the Locals coming in for the evening. I have to thank the Bar staff, BL, Juan and Marko, who always seemed to remember which drink you liked. The Hotel has invested this year, with new Sun Loungers around the pool, plus Rattan Furniture seating, with cushions. The pool has a gentle step entrance created this year to the pool and for those with mobility issues, this is a great addition. We had room 208 which has the sun all through the day and has a great view over the pool All in all, the holiday was money well spent. I recommend this hotel to those who want peace and quiet and a relaxing time
