This is a difficult review to submit because the Hotel was a very nice place to stay. Very clean and had modern fit out. Price was reasonable and of course a free but limited breakfast was on offer. Where this visit left a sour taste was the fact that we arrived to our room very tired and keen for use of the bathroom, only to find that there was no running water. Now this would be ok if it had just happened but it didn’t. The lack of water to the Hotel had been known to staff well before we checked in. Not on mention of it. Talking with at least four other guests in the elevator they had not been told either. When raising this with staff they appeared unfazed and could not provide any advice on when water may start flowing and bathrooms useable. Highly unacceptable guest relations. Paying guest checked in and paid not knowing if water would in fact be available to the Hotel at all that evening. Thankfully water was flowing by about 7-30pm. Upon checking out there was no apology or acknowledgment of the inconvenience. The right and proper thing to do would have been to offer at least a refund of even a small amount as some form of fairness - but no, thanks for coming only!

Me and my wife have stayed at Heritage many times before but nothing will match the experience we had this time. In the past we’ve met many front desk/concierge folks who just didn’t rise to the level of service we would expect from such an esteemed resort such as Heritage however this time was MUCH different! When we arrived Daniel AKA “Duck” was working the front desk and he immediately gave us a warm welcome. I told him we had a very long trip and as a result lost my ATM card and was unable to provide him a physical card for payment. Duck was extremely patient and understanding of our situation. He took care of us by making accommodations and allowed us to use ApplePay. THIS is what service is all about folks! To take it even further, Duck provided us a few small upgrades to our room which he did not have to do and we are so appreciative of him for doing this. He then made some GREAT suggestions for restaurants we could go to get a quick bite to eat (Patterson Pub!) which was UH-MAZING!! And then to top it off he helped us navigate to our room which was a little confusing at first but his directions were GREAT! Duck single handily made this experience what it was and I HIGHLY encourage the resort to give this man a raise AND a promotion! Thank you Duck & Thank you Heritage! We will be back! 🙏🙏
