Great Hotel. Building has been converted to a Hotel and has the original doors and fittings. The building is from early 1900's and the second part from 1950's and the owners have done a great job renovating it to its current condition. The Beds were comfortable and the whole Hotel was spotless. I didnt see AirCon but we certainly didnt need it in October. The view of the lake from the balcony was amazing. Breakfast was okay and worth the €10 per person. The main drawback for me was the hill up to the Hotel. Said it was a slight hill but it was much more than slight, There are 2 Taxi's in Mennagio and we could not even secure one to get back to the Ferry with our cases. We were unable to go down shorcut with cases and had to walk on the road with no footpath at parts. So great if you have a car, not so good if you don't.

Beautiful cozy Menaggio hotel. Great little hotel, family operated and in good location. Close to beach, grocery store and main piazza. Parking available. Very clean and excellent service.

Gorgeous hotel overlooking Lake Como. Fairly short walk down to the water area (situated on a hill so a little steep). Hotel staff were very nice and welcoming. Several parking spots on site for guests. Typical Europe hotel no AC or mini fridge but easy to make due without. Quiet area would highly recommend. Feeries to other major cities (Varenna, Belaggio, etc) is easy accessible from dock area.

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Loveno. It is up a steep hill, 15min walk but the views are worth it from your balcony. Our room (9) had gorgeous views. We had breakfast one morning which was €10 each, eggs & bacon, croissants, meats and cheese. I would definitely recommend

The hotel was walkable to town. The breakfast was good. The view of Lake Como from the hotel is really beautiful. I appreciated the staff giving us ideas of things around the hotel. The parking was also good.

Great location for a solo traveler. I felt it was close to the city center, safe and they had great food and drinks. Staff were friendly and I enjoyed the privacy I had. There was a neighbor who caused a bit of noise but I understood it was a personal health issue. Totally harmless and I would stay here again. The views are spectacular and if you keep the shades closed during day the fan provided does the trick on hot days. I liked this place :) you can access the town through shortcut allies and public transportation is easy to figure out. I am glad I stayed here instead of town of como, I was much closer to the must sees and it was cheaper. I give it an 8.5/10
