We had a wonderful Stay at Bowden B&B. Lovely location ideal for our stay as attending Thirlston Castle Classic car show. We chose Bowden House for its safe and secure courtyard for our 1960s car. We received a warm welcome from Uta and Jason and pleased to meet the dogs.( Didn't see enough of them). The house and gardens were beautiful, our room was spacious and a comfy bed and a lovely view of gardens and countryside. The breakfast was to die for and set us up for the day. We would recommend Bowden House and hope to return in the near future.

If you are looking for the best in Scottish hospitality, look no further. Uta and Jason are the ultimate hosts, and make you feel like family. The breakfasts are out of this world. There are so many choices available, and if something you request is not on the normal menu, they will be more than happy to go out and get it for you. They are simply the best.

BEAUTIFUL LOCATION, GREAT VIEWS FROM THE ROOMS, TERRACE AND GARDEN. A VERY WARM WELCOME BY JASON AND LATER UTA. NO DINNER IS SERVED, BUT IT PROVED PERFECTLY OK TO HAVE OUR OWN LIGHT MEAL ON THE TERRACE. AND NEXT MORNING A GREAT BREAKFAST WAS SERVED OUTSIDE IN THE SUN! HOUSE AND ROOM WERE VERY CLEAN AND COMFORTABLE.

This is a very special place. The property is beautiful and what views! It is immaculate and the beds are extremely comfortable and the environment so peaceful. There are amazing hikes from the doorstep and so many lovely places to visit close by. Uta and Jason are the perfect hosts - I will be back!

Our visit was short but very sweet. From our warm, welcoming hosts to the lovely room and a beautiful garden to sit on the terrace and look out on the views of the open countryside. We wished we were staying longer.

We had such a wonderful stay at this beautiful B&B! The hosts Uta and Jason made our stay here so comfortable! The views were spectacular and the breakfast was the best we have had in a B&B, which was made even more amazing when we got to enjoy it outside enjoying the wonderful views! We will definitely be back the next time we are up that way!

It was very nice, the area around it is beautiful for walking and running in all weathers. We were there on a rainy night and the room was warm and comfortable with a good view into the surrounding countryside. Also, there are lots of vegan options, of which the scrambled tofu is really good!
