I needed to check in early and they were more than happy to accommodate me. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. I really enjoyed my stay. Also the view was amazing!

Before I went to Melbourne, I had had the negative experience of Mercure in Thailand and I didn't want to choose it, to be honest, but I didn't have any choice because the price and location were better than other places. Wow. I was surprise because everything was unexpected I can say thanks to the hotel 1.The location is good and it is located in the CBD. Convenient transportation, lots of Asian restaurants, supermarkets and convenient stores. It is not far from the place I had to work. 2.The staff are great and helpful with service mind. Yes, I found a Thai girl staff who is really nice. We received the good service. Even though, the policy is they clean the room 1 in 3 days, but I was ok because we had to save the world. 3.The size of the room is small and the size of the beds were small too but enough for sleeping well and everything in the room was clean and function well. 4.No water bottles. I understood that we had to drink water from the tab. I was used to it because I knew it well, but my boss was not used to it and couldn't accept this. Please make the remark in the booking or put a paper in the room so that some people can prepare themselves for this culture. However, thanks for the milk in the fridge. Just positive experiences with this hotel this time. Thanks to you all

The location is ideal for me, as I don't have problem walking up slope. It's close to Chinatown, and accessible. Hotel looks a bit old. I was given a room that took me more than 1min to get to from the lift... It's a bit of a hassle if one is carrying heavy items. But I'm glad it was peaceful where my room was Appreciate the tea, coffee, and sugar provided. Left a small item in my hotel room, and when I checked out and asked about it, staff said they didn't find anything left behind.

In my opinion, there is nothing wrong with this hotel. It is great. This is the hotel that I am most satisfied with during this trip. Located in the busiest place in the city center, but there is no noise at all. We went out for a walk every day. It was Christmas, and the lights were bright but the order was in place. The hotel is surrounded by famous buildings and RMIT University. Various tall and majestic churches stand tall, and it feels like I am in Europe. The hotel has a very good service attitude, the front desk is enthusiastic and professional, the cleanliness is very good, the room is larger than we expected, and the facilities are good. It feels much better than the same level hotels in North America.

Farewell to Melbourne and embark on the journey back home. We encountered some minor setbacks in the hotel in Melbourne. My lover had a waist injury and could not adapt to the soft bed, which troubled us a little. Fortunately, the housekeeper Matthew acted quickly, actively communicated and coordinated with the hotel, and provided a quilt thoughtfully, so that my lover could rest safely on the sofa bed. This care really touched us. However, a small episode three days later caught us off guard again. For some reason, the hotel cleaning staff did not provide paper towels, laundry detergent and tea bags as usual. Maybe it was a momentary negligence. In desperation, we contacted the housekeeper A Liang, who immediately coordinated with the hotel. Soon, the hotel's Chinese waiter Zhang Jing enthusiastically solved the problem for us. Hearing the familiar Chinese service in a foreign country, the surprise and warmth of that moment are still unforgettable. This trip made us deeply feel that Ctrip is our solid backing, especially in the journey after retirement. Ctrip's company makes every trip feel safe and assured. Finally, I would like to add one sentence: the hotel is very good, the location is absolutely the best, the service is good, the decoration is very good and new! A very good choice!

Excellent location and horrible motel. The carpet is very dirty and it is super smelly. I didn't want to open my luggage in order my clothes don't smell too. The bed is very small (I am 1,65m and my feet were out). It is too soft and unbalaced, it was folling to the left. The fridge is so noisy I had to turn it off. The bath was quite clean. The windows were so dirty and the aircond made noises all the night althought it was switched off. I had several skin rushes on my leg this morning when I woke up although I didn't see any bugs. I would not stay one more night neither for free.

Excellent location. All branded shoppings & fine dinings are within walking distance. Hotel staff are extremely friendly & helpful. l would rate their service better than those from Park Hyatt Melbourne. Only complaint was the poor sound proof. l can hear noices from neighbouring room clearly. This is a let down that the hotel gotta look into it.

Excellent location in the downtown, close to everything: free tram to skybus to the airport, Victoria state library, museums, restaurants and theaters … Friendly and helpful staff, fully equipped kitchen with everything needed and spacious dining space, a beautiful terrace for open space at 5th floor very clean bathrooms

Very convenient  location, walkable distance to anywhere in CBD location. However the hotel is a bit old , but reasonable for the pricing I paid

The service at the hotel was friendly, but the standard, accepting that it is a low cost hotel was below what I was expecting… all furniture has chips of paint missing and the couch and curtains have noticeable small rips, general discolouration and just a general worn down look. The bathroom and kitchen especially could do with a really deep clean… just some extra attention to washing down walls and nooks and crannies on top of the standard check out wipe over to actually make it appear more than surface clean… It’s really the small things; to provide 5 small bottles of shampoo and not conditioner, (asked the cleaners and they said no conditioner is issued) but claim to provide toiletries… no hairdryer, only 2 towels for one person for 2 nights; to provide a clothes washer but not laundry liquid to wash your clothes… but 6 tablets for the dishwasher? Odd choices that all added to my unwillingness to stay at this hotel again or recommend it. I did enjoy the gym also the locations proximity to Aldi for clothes washing liquid, conditioner, and cleaning wipes so i could feel comfortable sitting in a dirty room..
