The hotel is in a convenient location, but parking is quite troublesome. The room is managed separately from the hotel, requiring us to park in an opposite lot, which is about a 10-minute drive to the highest floor. Unfortunately, the room was not clean. The toilet also needed attention, and there was a persistent odor reminiscent of dampness that we couldn't eliminate, even after purchasing a freshener. Additionally, there were stains on the walls and throughout the room. I provided feedback to the management, but it appears my message went unnoticed. On a positive note, the room does offer a great view of the river and the city and the bed is very comfortable.

The toilet and shower are separated by one of those glass partitions, which isn’t the most functional setup. It made the space feel cramped and awkward to move around, especially with limited space behind the bathroom door. The shower glass just added to the inconvenience—honestly, removing it might improve the usability of the space! On a brighter note, the staff were polite and helpful throughout my stay, and check-in and check-out were smooth. Overall, Swiss-Garden Hotel Melaka has potential, but small details like the bathroom layout and parking costs took away from what could have been a more enjoyable experience. **Rating:** 3.5/5

This is a very new hotel which started their business in March 2023. Wanted to try on the first day of opening but due to some reason, it was delayed till now. It’s a first Marriott hotel in Melaka, so I do have very high expectations from them. As a Marriott platinum elite member, I’ve stayed in many hotel under Marriott organisation. Upon reaching the hotel with grab car, the staff came up to me immediately and lead me to the check in counter, the lobby are huge, and I can still smell that the hotel are still so new. Not much of the guest in the lobby area, it’s a Monday so I guess it’s normal. No suite room upgrade and no complimentary breakfast for a platinum member, although I was upgraded to a strait view room which I appreciated it. It can see a tiny bit of the sea. Apart from that, I guess the room size and amenity are the same. The check in staff told me that the suite room was full… I mean.. it’s a Monday.. and I literally still can see the suite room was available in the Bonvoy app. As I’ve mentioned, I’ve been to many hotel under Marriott organisation. I don’t always get upgraded to a suite room, but it was okay, I do understand all these are subjected to individual hotel policy and it’s all a good will. But I guess the staff could just tell me that the hotel are still new, the suite room are limited and it’s reserved for paying guest. I would totally understand that. But I don’t think it’s wise to you know, use a default replied as member like us, we check on the app. For me, if there’s no available suite room, I wouldn’t even ask for an upgrade. Secondly, there’s no complimentary breakfast, I paid RM70 for the 2 day breakfast. I’ve stayed in a few courtyard hotel, this was the first one that I’ve paid for breakfast, there might be other courtyard that don’t provide complimentary breakfast for guest with elite status, maybe I didn’t stay much enough to see it all. I’ve stayed with hotel that told me that their facility actually don’t offer complimentary breakfast for elite member, but they will just give it to me as a good will on top of my welcome gift. Just a little suggestion, like maybe let the counter staff to decide, if they could slip in some complimentary breakfast to guest with elite status or even guest that potentially come back again. I’m not complaining here, just some of my suggestions. The room are new, nice and spacious, very clean. Nice TV channel selection, view was great. Bed are firm to the level that I like, they offer pillow menu as well. Had very good sleep for the 2 night. Breakfast was very basic. There’s a very annoying flies flying around my table.. how did it come into the hotel, lol. Gym are small but there should be everything you need. The infinity pool are great! Very good view and very Instagrammable. Please visit the pool when you are here. The staff and friendly and nice. Would come back again to the hotel when I’m back in Melaka.

My stay at Bayview Hotel Melaka was truly memorable, thanks in part to the exceptionally helpful and friendly front desk staff. While not ultra-modern, the hotel provided most essential amenities, including well-maintained gym and pool facilities. The old-school design and ambiance added a charming touch, offering a glimpse into Melaka's rich history. Its strategic location in the heart of Melaka made exploring the city's attractions effortless. The spacious room, with its breathtaking view of the bustling streets and serene river, was a highlight. It offered a cozy retreat after a day of sightseeing. However, what truly stood out was the warmth and professionalism of the front desk staff. From check-in to check-out, they were always ready to assist with a smile, offering valuable tips and ensuring all my needs were met promptly. For those seeking a blend of comfort, nostalgia, and outstanding hospitality in Melaka, Bayview Hotel Melaka is highly recommended.

Clean hotel, simple but beautiful deco. The room is okay, the toilet is clean. Complete with bathroom equipment. Iron and hair dryer provided. Breakfast food is very tasty. The pool is best suited for children's pools, but if you can provide chairs near the pool, it's okay. The staff is okay. Reasonable price. Check-in check-out is easy, you don't have to wait long. Will repeat again later. Overalls are the best 👍

From the moment we entered the hotel lobby, we were impressed. The interior decor was luxurious yet warm and inviting. The family room that we booked was spacious and clean with comfortable double beds and linens. The room was overlooking the ocean which had a fabulous view. There is a kettle, a small fridge and a large TV which we loved. The bathroom was nicely decorated with unique tiles. They provided plush towels and top of the line toiletry sets which they would replace every day.

The place is great for family. It’s slightly off the city but quiet and cozy. With sea view is the best. Parking is available if you’re driving. The swimming pool is great and there’s a convenient store available as well. The rooms are clean and comfortable, spacious as well. I booked an appointment with 2 rooms. There’s a living room with dinning place and a small kitchen. There’s also a service yard with washing machine.

When I'm arrived, there's a lot of free parking. So i like about it. What I don't like is about swimming pool. I thought there's an outdoor or private swimming pool for adults only. But when I'm asking about swimming pool, all staff said the same thing that the swimming pool is within waterpark that need to pay RM29 for entrance. A bit disappointed because when I'm make a booking, I thought there's a free swimming pool but it was not One more things, Bayou Lagoon Park Resort need to update some photos each of different rooms. Not all rooms use the same photo. Rooms not same as given photos. About cleanliness, I'm sorry. There's scratch on the floor and there's a stain of blood on bed. ☹️

I spent a night here after my talk in a nearby hospital. It is located at the business area of Ayer Keroh, which on the contrary, is not very busy. As it is one of the tallest building around, finding the hotel is not difficult. As the title suggest, it is a basic no frills hotel. The lobby is small and well lit. The room is clean and functional. It was well worth for the price. The issue is since it is fairly cheap, the hotel seems to be choice of the rowdy Mainland Chinese tourists. The breakfast was where they displayed their disorderliness.
