This hotel is in the perfect location. Just 2 minutes walk to Jonker Street. Friendly staff, clean hotel and our stay here was very pleasant. Restaurants are just located outside the hotel and therefore, there is no need to use your car to get around Jonker Street area. Best part is that they have a car park that is free for hotel guests - see photo. We will definitely come back to this hotel to stay for my next Melaka vacation. Highly recommended for those of you that wants to stay within walking distance to Jonker Street.

Given room was at 10th floor. Found out most of the rooms at the same level are abandon. As a solo traveller on business trip i Requested to change the room, waiting for hours to get the room through whatsapp. End up, i didnt get my room. They should have put notice informing guest that the level under maintenance or should not offer that level for guest.

I recently stayed at Eco Tree Hotel Melaka and had an overall decent experience. The location is quite convenient, with many attractions within walking distance, which was a plus. The rooms were clean and spacious, though they could use a bit of updating, as some of the furniture and fixtures seemed worn out. The staff was friendly but not very proactive in addressing some minor issues during my stay, like slow Wi-Fi, breakfast coupon and limited toiletries especially the laundry bag only 1 piece in the bathroom. While the rooftop pool offers a nice view of the city, less crowded. For the price, it was a satisfactory stay, but there’s definitely room for improvement.

Amazing stay! Definitely a 5 star experience. The staff were friendly and attentive. For someone who’s big on cleanliness, this place was spotless. Towels prepared for guests by the pool and in the gym, very thoughtful! Breakfast was good, and the location is really convenient. It’s about a 15 minute walk to Jonker Street, or you can grab a ride for less than RM6. Highly recommend this place!

Room number: 202 Positives: - hotel is a 10 mins walk to Jonker Street - newly refurbished shop houses - fan in room nice resort vibes - lovely rooftop pool - simple, adequate and delicious breakfast - rooms have bath tubs - separate bath tub and shower Negatives: - soundproofing could be better. I stayed at ibis Melaka from 27 to 29 December 2024. The hotel has an excellent location, being within walking distance of the Stadthuys and Jonker Street, making it very convenient for exploring the area. The cleanliness of the hotel was satisfactory, and the rooms were well-maintained. However, there are a few areas for improvement. During breakfast, coffee and tea were not replenished promptly, and the coffee bar was left unmanned at times, which was slightly inconvenient. It seemed the hotel was understaffed during my stay. Despite these minor issues, my experience was overall satisfactory, and I would consider staying here again for its great location and decent amenities.
