Just a great stay we had there. Everything excellent!!!

Such an amazing safari experience in Nepal - from the river safari, sundowner happy hour, cultural performances, bush fire dinner and jungle safari. Our Naturalist, Take, is really passionate and dedicated. He also has eagle eyes and can spot everything camouflaged in nature. Sunil, our driver kept us safe and comfortable on the ride. Thank you! We will hopefully be back soon!

A wonderful place. We spent 2 nights relaxing after our trek. Super comfortable rooms. Excellent food with a fabulous choice and nothing was too much trouble. Great experience on day safari. Sundownwer and cultural programme. All in all a fab way to end a special visit to Nepal. Highly recommended

Two couples on a four night stay. Firstly, the level of service during our stay has been exceptional. No detail was left unattended. Staff were all friendly kind and professional. Cleanliness was outstanding. The food quality and choice was excellent. As there were four of us, we splashed out on the suite (Number 35). And what a suite it was! Big dining and lounge area, two double bedrooms, both with separate en-suite bathrooms. The main bedroom had an amazing sunken bath with an absolutely huge rain shower head! The outdoor terrace was huge with an amazing pool (unfortunately, a little too cold to swim in because of the time of year). Every evening without fail, the staff would unobtrusively place several dozen paraffin gas lanterns around pool and patio area as part of a beautiful evening turndown service. Our guide for the safari elements of our stay was Gobinder, and he was absolutely tremendous. Incredibly knowledgeable about Nepal’s animal and plant life, and always took great pains to ensure we were having a good time and getting the most out of all our excursions. Not only that, he also went the extra mile to getting us upgraded or even extra tours whenever he could at no extra cost to us - absolutely first rate! We ended up doing the half day walking tour, full day jeep safari, another half day jeep safari and a morning boat journey with breakfast. All were stunning, well organised and we got to see so much wildlife, including rhinos, crocodiles, deer and elephants! We wouldn’t hesitate in recommending the Barahi Jungle lodge. We had an absolutely magical stay!

Everything was superb. Safari outings, accommodation, food, hospitality, setting - everything ! Staff are extremely attentive and go out of their way to ensure your needs are met. Although no tiger sightings we heard one and saw many rhinos, birds and crocodiles. Great river trips, jeep safaris and jungle walks. Highly recommend.

Great staff, food, guides and safaris. Our special meal was terrific. Don't understand why most people only come for 2 days. Could have stayed a week. Nothing too much trouble and so much food. And the pillows are the fluffiest I have ever felt.
