I checked in today at this -so called- Four Seasons hotel. The experience so far is very unpleasant and definitely not as planned. I made my reservation for 3 Gentiane type rooms 2 months in advance which I also prepaid in full. I specifically requested and the hotel confirmed that all three rooms would be in the main building. As soon as we arrived the hotel informed us that the 3 rooms will be in a chalet located 5 minutes away from the main building. Of course we refused to accept that but they informed us -more or less- that the reservation is already prepaid and we dont have any other option. After long discussions with the font desk representative and after demanding to speak with the manager, they put him over the phone. He was very rude and he was not present in the hotel. After extreme pressure on my side he admitted that there is availability in the main building but they are expecting a last-minute reservation tomorrow(!). That was at least outrageous and he promised to call me back asap to figure out a solution. Its 19:00 at the moment and I am still waiting.. Apart from that, the rooms they gave us are lacking the luxury of heating. As soon as we walked in we informed the front desk and they sent a representative to fix it. Still, the room is extremely cold and they told us that there is nothing that can be done. Instead they offere a portable air heater 😂 as you can see in the picture attached. Keep in mind that the outside temp is -2 at the moment. I wonder whats happening when ist -10 outside. Moreover, the shuttle service is terrible. They left us freezing in the city center for over 20 minutes, even though they confirmed our pickup via sms. Overall, the hotel is poorly managed and definitely not up to Four Seasons standards. If the room is not located in the main building, you have to walk 5-10 minutes in the freezing cold to get to the spa,swimming pool and breakfast area 😂. Avoid!
