We joined a yoga / hiking week at ALKYON hotel, which we thoroughly enjoyed. The hosts are exceptionally welcoming and kind. Catherine, our hostess, is a French lady married to a wonderful Greek man. Together they own and run this family hotel, doing their utmost to make their guests feel at home. There is a swimming pool, a bar and a terrace overlooking the sea. Catherine cooks well. Everything is homemade, healthy and tasty. We hiked, also in the northern part of the island, which is breathtakingly beautiful. The hotel is close to a few beaches and a taverna, where we had an exquisite lunch. The bus stops nearby and goes a.o. to Ermoupoli, the capital: an interesting city with a catholic and orthodox heritage. I would strongly recommend choosing the ALKYON hotel, when in Syros.

We spent 4 days in this family-held hotel. Nice clean simple and typical rooms, large swimming pool with diving platform, bar with tasty cocktails all home made. Tasty and healthy breakfast, salad options for lunch, larger menu for dinners with typical Greek dishes. The family speaks perfect Greek, French and English. Would come back there with pleasure!

Nous remercions Catherine et Jacques pour l'accueil chaleureux qu' ils nous ont réservé. Tout a été parfait durant notre séjour. De tous nos voyages, nous n'avons jamais connu une piscine aussi belle dans un décor aussi féérique ! Merci pour ces merveilleuses vacances riches de la rencontre de belles personnes.Merci à Nicos et au personnel pour leur amabilité. L'emplacement est très paisible et très bien situé pour visiter l'île. Il y a un arrêt de bus en face de l hôtel. Les bus sont nombreux et permettent un déplacement assez aisé. Nous avons pu compter sur Catherine pour les réservations d'un véhicule et d'activités. Comme il est mentionné sur le site, nous pouvons vous le confirmer, nous arrivons en "clients" et repartons en "amis"... Que du bonheur ! Isabelle et PascalL hôtel Alkyon est de toute beauté... un petit paradis sur terre. A ne surtout pas rater.

L'hôtel Alkyon est plus une pension de famille a l'ancienne qu'un hôtel. L'hotel dispose d'une belle vue mer et d'une piscine très agréable. Les chambres sont sommaires mais relativement propres. Par contre les services accessoires plutôt limité ( petit déjeuner uniquement à partir de 900, uniquement des salades pour les déjeuner, et un plat du jour unique au diner. L'alkyon est un très bon choix pour des personnes cherchant un endroit atypique, reculé, voir même hors du temps, pour se prélasser, par contre pour des personnes cherchant confort moderne et proximité cela n'est pas l'idéal. En bref tout dépend de vos attentes.

Magnifique voyage à Syros à l'hôtel Alkyon ! L'hôtel Alkyon à Syros est un lieu paradisiaque. D'abord, l'accueil de Catherine et Iakovos est chaleureux, attentif, familial, solaire. L'hôtel est calme, très bien entretenu, avec une vue sur la mer, des végétaux, des fleurs qui apportent un apaisement instantané. La nourriture, les plats traditionnels , tout est excellent, du petit-déjeuner au dîner, du fait maison avec amour. De L'hôtel, des randonnées sont possibles et pour aller plus loin, le bus est juste un peu plus bas de L'hôtel, pratique. Catherine, Iakovos et sa fille connaissent bien l'île et leurs habitants, et sont de très bon conseil pour les randonnées, les "tavernes", les artisans, etc, à découvrir. Nous avons passé un séjour formidable, unique, qui restera gravé dans la mémoire. Vraiment je recommande l'hôtel et ses propriétaires sans hésitation. Que du bonheur !

Hôtel très sympa, bien entretenu, dans un environnement calme avec une belle piscine. Accueil extra des maîtres des lieux, Catherine et Jacques. Une base idéale pour se reposer après une randonnée ou une journée à la plage. Nous revenons souvent les voir ! Petit Dej de qualité et restauration le soir (cuisine locale). Bon à savoir: l'hôtel organise également des stages de Yoga.
