Für kleine, zierliche Mittelalter Fans ist dieses Hotel bestimmt eine coole Sache. Die Zimmer sind klein und urig eingerichtet. Für uns war die Schlaf Qualität mittelmäßig, das Bad ist SEHR klein. Wir konnten nach der ersten Nacht umziehen in das dazugehörige Hotel Wilder Mann (dort muss man sowieso zum Frühstücken hin). Der Geldautomat im EG (unter den Zimmern) hat mich persönlich gestört. Da gibt es andere Plätze. Sparkassen z.B. Am besten selbst mal ausprobieren.

Was wir hier erlebt haben, ist einfach nur eine Unverschämtheit. Die Rezeption hat sich an ihre eigenen Vorgaben gar nicht gehalten und hat uns nicht von alleine den Code für den Safe des Zimmerschlüssels mitgeteilt. Nach mehrmaligen Telefonaten haben wir ihn endlich bekommen und mussten uns wie ein paar dumme Touristen von dem Mitarbeiter, Herr Martin Haase Abspeisen lassen. So etwas unverschämt das haben wir schon lange nicht mehr erlebt. Dann kommen wir vor dem so genannten Gästehaus an und dachten wirklich um Gottes willen. Wir hatten unser Loch in der vierten Etage und schleppten in mehreren Etappen das gesamte Gepäck diese Hühnerleiter hoch. Kein Service Keine Hilfe kein Lift kein gar nichts. Auch der Feuerschutz wird hier nicht groß geschrieben. Gut, dass wir hier wieder raus sind. Irgendwo auf einer anderen Etage stand dann etwas Wasser das sollte dann die Teeküche sein. Einfach nur äußerst unverschämt der Laden. Wir kommen hier nie wieder hin.

Das Hotel ist eine gute Empfehlung für 2 bis 3 Nächte. Die Zimmer sind klein, aber genügend für ein Paar. Die Betten sind 2 zusammengeschobene Einzelbetten. Das Bad schick, wenn auch klein. Die Rezeption befindet sich in einem anderen Hotel, welches über 1 Parkplatz verfügt, welches mit dem Shuttle für ins Hotel wo sich das Frühstück befindet, belegt ist. Zum Check-in kriegt man eine Karte für ins Auto um auf der Strasse parkieren zu dürfen, welche aber nicht vor einer Busse schützt, wenn man länger als 30 min benötigt oder das Check-in nicht besetzt ist. Das Parkhaus ist rund 400m entfernt, aber für meinen Geschmack sehr passend, als bei den prekären Platzverhältnissen im Städtchen parkieren zu müssen und Schäden danach zu haben. Das Frühstück ist ebenfalls in einem anderen Hotel, ca 200 m entfernt. Dort treffen sich die Gäste von ca 3-4 Hotels. Ist schön präsentiert und hat genügend für alle. Zu rush hours muss man leicht anstehen.

Tolles Hotel im Mittelalter-Style. Musik im Bad. Kein Lift. Hervorragendes Frühstück im Nachbarhotel auf der Terrasse direkt am See. Rezeption in einem anderen Nachbarhotel. Mitten in Meersburg. Aussicht auf Burg im Hinterzimmer. 5 von 5 Punkten 👍🏼
