Mirage Al Salam Hotel

The hotel is couple minutes away from Masjid Nabvi. The Washroom was very old and you had to use viper to keep it dry. Shower was not up to the standard. They did not change the linen for 3 days. We had to ask everyday for the change of towels. Receptionists were good. Braekfast did not had variety.

This property is closed to haram. Customer service was more than excellent. They went out of their way when we told them after checking in that we don’t like bathroom and if there is way to change room. Immediately they offered to tour 5 other rooms to change if we like even the suite. I haven’t had that kind of customer service experience before where reception people went above and beyond to accommodate customer. Very satisfied with our stay . I would recommend this property to everyone who is looking for close to masjid e nabawi and have a budget to stay in. Only thing needs improvement is they should rebuild their bathrooms in entire hotel. Since this is old building and hotel. It’s bathrooms need renovation after that it would be excellent place. One additional plus is there elevators are fast. Better than some 5 star hotels we have been. This is not 5 star hotel. So expect it that way. You will not get stuff and amenities like you would in 5 star. But some things at Al salam hotel are better managed than 5 star. Such as room service is 24 hr, fast elevators, great accommodating staff, convenient and beautiful location. Masood and Shah Alam were great help . And reception staff was fabulous English speaking and attitudes.

The hotel offers the basics that you need to visit Al Haram. It is very close to the Haram. Also the parking under Alharam is very concenient ( 4 min walk) and is only 1 SAR per hour. A lot of stores and shops in the area. Rooms are a bit small but clean. The hotel staff are very cooperative and responsive. The room service food is good abd reasonably priced.

The only positive: Close to the Haram Unfortunately, this hotel is unable to handle peak season bookings. Our room was dirty the entire week, even though we had the "make the room up" card displayed. The room was cleaned once and every time i needed to find someone for fresh towels and toilet paper. Apart from the friendly female receptionist, the male receptionists don't smile nor are they pleasant (its as if they're doing you a favour). The porter didnt even ask if we needed assistance with our luggage. The room was tiny, dark and there was only 1 plug-point (which needed the bed to be moved). Finally, the restaurant is below average. From outdated decor and uncleaned tables to a slapdash Eid breakfast (if you can call it breakfast).

It was good stay at the mirage close to al masjid alnabawi also close to all kind of shops.I was very very pleased with the reception staff they are very nice people and helpful. For a budget hotel is very recommended.but if you want more you have to pay more.

We went with breakfast option which was a mistake. Breakfast was terrible. Low quality food was served. Location and staff was helpful
