We enjoyed our stay at Hotel le Calife. It is clean and in good repair. The complementary breakfast is very good. The staff is polite and professional. We were close to many restaurants and always felt safe on the street. Walking in and out of traffic took a while to get used to though. We also felt we got to mingle among real Tunisians, being a bit off of the tourist track.

The price was great, but so was the hotel! Located close to the Medina, there was plenty to do within walking distance from the hotel. A wonderful and helpful staff, delightful cafe and a building with unique architecture and comfortable rooms. I was very pleasantly surprised with this very affordable little hotel!

The hotel is simple and inexpensive. The room is correct and clean with decent bedding even if it could be a little firmer. The downside is that the building is poorly insulated so you can hear the neighbors coming in, going to bed, walking... You can have coffee and fresh orange juice there. It is very well located a few minutes walk from the medina, right in the center.

Visiting with family for a night Hotel located a few minutes from the medina even if it is a popular but secure area; welcoming and very cooperative staff..to improve the hygiene of sheets and towels..very reasonable price quality.

The least I can say is disappointing for the reasons I will cite below + It shows parking when there is none + It is located in a popular area with demolished buildings + The photos on booking do not reflect reality The icing on the cake, arriving after a reservation made on booking and confirmed by telephone, I found my reservation canceled at the last minute, the receptionist blamed booking and the latter sent me a message informing me that the establishment had canceled my reservation and no one su locates the problem So I will recommend it manages
