The picture sums it up. How can you NOT provide hangars?????????? Omg...also have to reserve a time slot for breakfast. There were 4 other tables....not exactly 'slammed' and I went when I wanted, not waiting for my time slot as I was up earlier than excepted, so 8:00 ish. They don't offer to do an omelet or is there signage but I asked and they did....with cold veggies inside. Didn't they cook them first before putting them in??? Front desk customer service skill can be Greatly improved!

I absolutely love this hotel! Yes the central rooms have windows either side but if you look on their website it shows this! Their food is lovely well the steak and breakfast is (that’s all I had). The area is lovely and quiet. If I had to put an issue…. Only issue is parking. There isn’t a lot but if you are prepared to walk then there is plenty. Staff are very friendly too :) thank you for making this an enjoyable stay :)

Very dubious with feedback, HOWEVER, I was pleasantly surprised and juts by pulling a curtain to your glass fronted room you have TOTAL PRIVACY. I didn’t mind not having a window as it makes for a better nights sleep as not disturbed by the morning light. The bath is so deep so had a beautiful relaxing bath and being able to watch the TV, you could in fact put some tranquil music on or the news or whatever you like to watch and see the TV from the bath as it is open to the room. The food in the restaurant is delicious. I would definitely book this hotel again. Being in a converted church adds to the beauty of this place and the restaurant toilets with the confessional door hatch adds to the touches. As do the sinks in the restaurant toilets and the round basins in the room all tie in.

Weird feeling of being inside church and an aquarium at the same time - but if you get over with the "not seeing outside" except to the corridor, you'll enjoy your stay. You will need to keep your curtains closed unless you want to be visible to others. It did not bother me. First I had troubles locating the front desk as it seems like you're entering a restaurant, but the desk is located to the left from the doors inside the church. Very steep steps to the first floor, but there's a small lift. Beautiful decor, very modern and contemporary. Extremely comfortable bed. My room was 108 at the end of the corridor, which gave me direct view to the colorful glass windows of the church. Weirdly the room does not have proper closet for your clothes and I had to ask for clothes hangers. The shower leaks to the floor of the bathroom - some kind of wiper would be appreciated! There's a separate toilet with a door to close, but no option to manage the lights. Meaning they shine bright also during the night if you open the door. I was alone, so I did not wake anyone, but it would bother me if I was the one waked up by the lights. Nespresso coffee machine was a great plus as well as a mini fridge. You can opt out from daily cleaning and they promise to plant a tree for that. Breakfast was excellent with different kinds of cheese and clutleries, bread and I believe omelettes to-order (I did not try). Coffee is served directly to your table. I did not try the restaurant other than for the breakfast. I had pleasant 2 night stay on business and enjoyed the hotel.

Windows face inwards so there is no privacy. Despite images online of rooms with stained glass windows, the majority of the rooms have only got windows which face inwards therefore other guests can see into your room. It is therefore necessary to close curtains and exclude any natural daylight or view. Furthermore, there is only shampoo and body lotion. Conditioner and body lotion are missing which one would expect at this price.

Located in a old Church in the center of hoorn a moderan design in a old building. The room is very open with glass on both sides which looks cool but is not very practical and lack of decent working table / Chair is not good. Bed was good, decent nespresso in room, great shower and the Lights are not easy to figure out. Breakfast is tasty but not very wide choice but good coffea and great pouched eggs.

Thus is such cool hotel! It is an old church that has the hotel structure inside of it. It’s very modern, and the lighting is lovely. The staff is awesome. Breakfast was included and it was great, with a lot of choices. We so enjoyed our stay. We recommend this hotel highly.

This is a usual review. I had a small cough traveling to and checking into the hotel. About 3 hours later, I became really sick. Confusion, trembling and a mild fever. I checked online and was probably either the flu or COVID. I put on my mask and told them I felt sick and to bring me breakfast outside the door. I got some food and a COVID test kit. It was positive so I spent the next few days in my room. I felt better in a few days. The room was neat and clean but there were no exterior windows and the room was rather small. The staff were nice and did what they could to help me out. So I had several days in an interior room with nothing to do. Kind of a bummer but the hotel’s fault.

Nice special place, no outside window, but very big inside window into the beautiful church. We missed floor heating in the bathroom (very cold floor) or a towel to put on the floor, as well for the water from the shower as from te coldness. A place to put your own stuff in the shower would be nice. We had a great experience and love the city of Hoorn.
