This hotel is so comfy and the service is very good. The location is very central. Clean and organized. The rooms are perfect and it has a good quality for its price. I would definitely stay again in a future trip.

I choose this property base on the hotel website and few reviews online. 5 Starts hotel mean an extraordinary service, customer service, and above and beyond customer service. My room was 1306 very small room, basic room, not welcome amenities (water batle or any sweets as other 5 start hotels does. The towels are absolutely inappropriate like old and stained towels, some with the bed sheets. The chairs were not in good shape and dirty. The chais were not dirty but they look old and weathered. Breakfast was delicious, local food, and several choices to eat, continental & American breakfast style available. The portion are extremely small micro-bread , so you have to put in your plate may pieces because they are too small. Poor customer service and most the employees feels like empowered just because they work at the hotel. Except few people. Upon my arrival not courtesy at all, no water bottle complementary so comparing with the holiday Inn Express & Suites located one block down that goes above & beyond to make us feel welcome at the hotel. For the price I paid it is not make sense to spent large amount of money for. Very poor service. The Hotel Bellman (April 2) in the morning. Great location and hotel in Medellin. We stayed for 3 nights. Rooms were spacious, comfortable bed, and shower. Loved that the hotel was located inside one of the nicest malls in this city. Safe neighborhood, and close to Provenza to go out at night. I will definitely consider staying here again. I didn’t try the food, but had a couple of drinks at the bar on the rooftop.

We stayed one week as I am Colombia and my husband is not and was a little shy to stay at my mothers house around the corner. Picked because of the reviews and location. Room was comfortable, although even if you have your dnd they will come in and turnoff the ac. Fridge never refilled. You have to ask for water at reception but beware if the restaurant is closed they will have none. I’ve travelled extensively and both my husband and I work in hotels. This is the first hotel to ever call you every day at 8:55 am to tell you breakfast is about to end, and if you would like your order brought up. I mean someone else might like that, but we hated it!!! I understand the guy thought he was doing a favor and yes maybe 2 days out of the 7 but Jesus! Don’t do that. Shower comfortable however they don’t have conditioner and you must call down for a blow dryer. Bed was comfortable and we were in the largest suite on the top floor. However the ac is placed in a location where when turned on it blows directly at the bed! It’s impossible to sleep like that as you will need it on blast to cool the room since they have turned it off for you and it’s so directly on you that you will get sick. Now I had three things that have gone missing from my room. One of which was a pink purse. Luckily it was a Nine West purse and not one of my very expensive Gucci purses. This I called the reception on the same day as check out to first ask them if I had left it behind, not only were they very defensive about it but also offensive. The receptionist ( gentleman) said oh you sure you didn’t drop it as i seen you leave with so much stuff. And he also said why would you just bring it up now. Mind you I made this call about one hour after checking out. I said to him because I wanted to make sure it wasn’t in my bag. The purse was placed next to my sneakers which were the exact same color. Now you see I would just think that it got tangled up with the sheets, but one thing occurred which made me think something was not right. On one day, I took the end off the door since the waiter brought up our food. We stayed late in bed watching tv and sleeping. Someone opened our door with no knock. I quickly rushed to see who it was and it was the hotel manager. She said ohhh I’m sorry I didn’t know someone was staying in this room I’m so sorry. Now I work in hotels and know two things. The hotel manger always knows when a guest is in their highest paying room, and hotel managers always knock. Also this was through the middle of our stay. They hotel managers office is directly across from our room. They knew. My bag was also opened and a blue adidas body suit was stolen as well as a pair of white stretchy jeans. I only noticed this maybe two or three days ago when I recalled o had packed them and wanted to wear them. My husband and I were going to return to this hotel due to the convenience, however I never received a call back with a resolution as they said they would.

Sparkling clean. Easy access to transportation and also walk arounds if your plan is just go to eat or have a drink. Located above of Laureles area which makes it great to find night plans in a safe area. I highly recommend it, If you ate too sensitive to noises, just ask for a not exterior side, and high floor, it really worked for me. Curious thing, I loved the smell of everything new in there, cuz it’s literally a new Hotel that recently opened in that area 😃 You will not regret your stay; staff were very very nice too :)

Three men walked into my room during my stay unannounced while two of my roommates were undressed and hotel management won’t do anything about it!! I rented 9 hotel rooms and a conference room at Hotel Dorado for 30 leaders of my nonprofit org for 4 days. On day 2 of our stay a mysterious man bolted into our room unannounced and saw my roommate completely undressed. Why would someone outside of our party could have access to our room!? We went to hotel managers Joanna and Marco and they won’t do a single thing about it. They tell us it is not a big deal just “a matter of perspective”. Shortly after reporting this, Marco charged into our room with another man behind him completely unannounced, didn’t knock, just opened the door while yet ANOTHER girl was undressing and would not leave the room claiming he is trying to “fix the problem”. Marco and Joanna need to be fired! At this point all the girls in my organization were scared, some were crying, we all felt completely UNSAFE. The management was harassing us. They have camera’s on every floor and when we asked they claim there is no footage of these events (how convenient!!!) so now we are filing suit against them so they can release the footage to us. On top of all of this mental &emotional trauma my girls went through,I spent over $3,000 for hotel rooms, conference room, and hotel catering and the hotel won’t refund us for the services and rooms we didn’t use after the incidents.This would be THE VERY LEAST they can do.

This hotel has definitely allowed me to redefine my former thoughts of what is a budget hotel. Whenever I thought “budget hotel,” I always thought of a hotel that was past its prime & a hotel that was dingy, dark, faded & completely 3rd rate. However, this hotel is completely the opposite of those things. To start, the staff at this hotel is genuinely so kind to their guests & they are equally kind & respectful toward each other. The staff is more than efficient at what they do in their professions & this allows the Ibis Budget Itagüí to have such a “feel good” comfortability. The manager here has chosen a wonderful team & your guests thank you very much! I stayed here for 24 nights & I don’t think I’ve ever felt more welcomed in any other hotel before. My room was very comfortable, with cozy linens & pillows. I slept beautifully in the bed each night. There’s a big curtained window in each room, which covers most of the wall, allowing natural sunlight to enter the room. You can’t open the windows, but the Ibis Budget Itagüí hotel is fresh & clean... & even though I do enjoy fresh air in my room, I have not one complaint with this hotel! The TV is great (with several English channel options) & electrical outlets were conveniently located throughout my room. My Internet was so fast & air-conditioning functioned perfectly. The elevators are very quick & I never waited long for one. Breakfast each morning was surprisingly more extensive than I had imagined, with many fresh fruits, omelettes to order, cereals, yogurts, breads, 2 fresh juice choices & delicious Colombian coffee with heated milk was available. The staff working in the restaurant was always so accommodating & friendly. Sometimes, in the middle of the night, I get hungry & I could always go downstairs to the hotel lobby, where they have a nice selection of sandwiches & pizzas (which they gladly heated for me). There’s lots of beverage options & chips & chocolates, etc. Security is always present on the street level, as you enter the hotel, & they ensure the security of guests & staff without being intrusive. The security staff is also very polite, but efficient at what they need to do, in order to ensure everyone’s safety. This hotel is spotlessly clean with a phenomenal cleaning staff. Sometimes I would leave my room around dinner time and they would still clean my room spotlessly & they would change the sheets for me whenever I requested. The hotel appears to be a very new & a modern building. I think they just celebrated their 2nd anniversary here. On the street level, located inside this hotel building, is a bakery called Tostao’ Cafe & Pan. Everything there is delicious & all of the pastries are very French! Next-door (still inside & on the street level of the Ibis Budget Itagüí building) is a delicious & comfortable family restaurant called Burrata, which is owned by a husband & wife & their little boy. The food is delicious, with a daily menu of the freshest ingredients & tast

This hotel, the decoration is very good, the health is very clean, the service is very good, very warm, the taste of the hotel restaurant is also good, the location is very convenient, the price is very high, recommended!

Beautiful view of Medellin. Location is safe and walking distance to Provenza. Facility is modern and very clean. Staff is friendly to tourists and very accommodating.
