The Ibis standard of quality. The service was a little below, because it is quite moved, which makes the attendants' life difficult. The bed was also bad. The positive point for the location, great, in the most slightly rough neighborhood of the city. Near the center, but also near the attractions of El Poblado, district with restaurants, bars etc. very safe region.

Three men walked into my room during my stay unannounced while two of my roommates were undressed and hotel management won’t do anything about it!! I rented 9 hotel rooms and a conference room at Hotel Dorado for 30 leaders of my nonprofit org for 4 days. On day 2 of our stay a mysterious man bolted into our room unannounced and saw my roommate completely undressed. Why would someone outside of our party could have access to our room!? We went to hotel managers Joanna and Marco and they won’t do a single thing about it. They tell us it is not a big deal just “a matter of perspective”. Shortly after reporting this, Marco charged into our room with another man behind him completely unannounced, didn’t knock, just opened the door while yet ANOTHER girl was undressing and would not leave the room claiming he is trying to “fix the problem”. Marco and Joanna need to be fired! At this point all the girls in my organization were scared, some were crying, we all felt completely UNSAFE. The management was harassing us. They have camera’s on every floor and when we asked they claim there is no footage of these events (how convenient!!!) so now we are filing suit against them so they can release the footage to us. On top of all of this mental &emotional trauma my girls went through,I spent over $3,000 for hotel rooms, conference room, and hotel catering and the hotel won’t refund us for the services and rooms we didn’t use after the incidents.This would be THE VERY LEAST they can do.

Great hotel great location and service is simply the best I’ve ever seen. The hotel is well located. It’s beautifully remodelled the rooftop bar there’s also a big island of the hotel. Breakfast was included which was great but what I love the most is that every room is beautifully remodeled, and a very intelligent use of space.

I choose this property base on the hotel website and few reviews online. 5 Starts hotel mean an extraordinary service, customer service, and above and beyond customer service. My room was 1306 very small room, basic room, not welcome amenities (water batle or any sweets as other 5 start hotels does. The towels are absolutely inappropriate like old and stained towels, some with the bed sheets. The chairs were not in good shape and dirty. The chais were not dirty but they look old and weathered. Breakfast was delicious, local food, and several choices to eat, continental & American breakfast style available. The portion are extremely small micro-bread , so you have to put in your plate may pieces because they are too small. Poor customer service and most the employees feels like empowered just because they work at the hotel. Except few people. Upon my arrival not courtesy at all, no water bottle complementary so comparing with the holiday Inn Express & Suites located one block down that goes above & beyond to make us feel welcome at the hotel. For the price I paid it is not make sense to spent large amount of money for. Very poor service. The Hotel Bellman (April 2) in the morning. The hotel is in the city center. It is a little far from the attractions. The waiters on the hotel floor are very nice. Every time I meet, I greet you warmly. The breakfast is average. The hot dishes are basically eggs and nothing vegetables.

ENG/FR Can’t believe this place is five stars. Don’t know if six stars exist in Colombia but it should, as this was quite disappointing : where to start? First you arrive and the reception people don’t speak English... great. Then they tell you that you can’t have any guest visiting you in your room... freedom away. The gym is one treadmill and one bike... unbelievable. The room service is limited in choice and very poor quality, And very very slow. Almost an hour to get your order. The cleaning is also badly done in the room (female hair everywhere, one towel is not enough, no shower mat...)which was the biggest suite available... The bed sheets have strange traces on them. And very important the TV is Low quality! No HD! It should be 4K. Also a Bluetooth speaker would have been a good thing. Anyway, bad Management, low level, high prices Hotel. Refund demanded and required !!

It should be ok. My friend has stayed before and recommended to book this room. The price is not bad. The breakfast is included, and the breakfast looks good, okay. The surrounding environment is good.

I was incredibly disappointed with this hotel. The best thing going for it is the location. LOVED the location and it's really the only hotel in the area (Laureles). Sadly, I was disappointed with the facilities and the staff. To start, as soon as we walked in, the front desk lady was standoffish and it seemed like we were bothering her checking in. Then, when we got to our room, the air conditioning wasn't working- I asked for her to send someone up and they didn't. Again, I was clearly bothering her. Thus, the rest of our stay was so stifling (we were on the 8th floor and can't open windows) that we had to leave the door open at times just to get some airflow. The room was clean enough. Twice we weren't given any towels, which we had to ask for- which again, seemed like we were bothering the staff. The bed was huge, as was the shower. But the shower was in a room that sort of just flooded everywhere, including in front of the toilet. There was a safe and a mini-fridge. Breakfast was included, but was really awful. The food just wasn't fresh. We ended up going out for breakfast half our time there, which was disappointing. While we didn't use the pool (it says it's an extra charge), we stopped by to look one night and it's definitely not worth paying extra for. Overall, we absolutely loved the area- restaurants everywhere, safe, quieter and a great vibe, but I was incredibly disappointed in the hotel, especially the staff at the front desk. So unwelcoming.

Great location and hotel in Medellin. We stayed for 3 nights. Rooms were spacious, comfortable bed, and shower. Loved that the hotel was located inside one of the nicest malls in this city. Safe neighborhood, and close to Provenza to go out at night. I will definitely consider staying here again. I didn’t try the food, but had a couple of drinks at the bar on the rooftop.

Me gustó mucho el servicio, las personas son muy amables. La habitación muy cómoda, organizada, cada detalle bien cuidado, la cama súper cómoda. El restaurante es muy bonito también, la comida estuvo muy rápido y estaba muy rica. Había música en vivo, toda la experiencia fue inolvidable. El lugar es tranquilo, seguro, los súper recomiendo.
