Good hotel with some downsides. + Location is amazing + Hotel is pretty + Staff super friendly + Small hotel (~max 10 rooms) +/- good but small breakfast - Extremely loud, doors and walls are super thin, you can hear everything outside your room. In the first night we had a room directly in the lobby, it was so loud that we asked for a change in rooms. This was gladly accommodated; however, the next room was also loud (although not as much) - To get in and out of the hotel you need staff sitting at the reception, but during the night you have to ring a bell which is super loud and wakes up the whole hotel - Some rooms don’t have proper windows

This chic and gorgeous boutique hotel with a pool and café/restaurant & bar was the perfect combination of things we needed during our stay in Medellin. It is located in an area known as Patio Bonito which is just a hop, skip and a jump away from the well-known El Poblado and Manila areas. We prefer to stay in the Patio Bonito area for its uniqueness in being close enough to the beautiful chaos but with the added bonus of being in a serene neighborhood. I guess I could be called a seasoned traveler but I hadn’t written a review for a long while but we frequent Medellin and this place deserves a shout-out as it stands out amongst the rest! In all my accommodation experiences Antipoda Hotel surpasses expectations in terms of the aforementioned and additionally in the quality of bedding, shower designs and water pressure, -cleanliness and warm service. The hotel itself doesn't have a lot of rooms (maybe 8-10) and is neatly tucked away like a hidden gem. Last but not least, I search high and low for good food and coffee and lo and behold this place met and exceeded my expectations! It’s no surprise that they had good coffee I suppose but the menu was obviously well thought-out and designed for a unique experience with a modern twist of local and foreign flavors and each dish was definitely IG worthy in presentation. There were beers and finely presented cocktails as well, which we really enjoyed. We were seeing people in the café/restaurant & bar who were not staying at the hotel and it turns out that it is open to non-hotel customers as well.

It was a perfect stay. The room was fine and the room was fine and the service was excellent! Also it has a great location.

We loved this hotel!! Staff was very friendly & helpful! & hotel decor is beautiful A complete vibe! We will definitely be back! 10/10

Breakfast was made fresh for us every morning. The staff was extremely nice and really bent over backwards to make us feel welcomed from the guys in the cafe every morning to the gentlemen that worked the door every night. We were there four days and honestly it was a delight. A quiet exclusive little place away from mainstream hotels. Think of this as a bed and breakfast type place.

Very cute hotel just far away from the busy part of Poblado. Incredibly friend staff, delicious breakfast. Only downside to our room was that the bathroom wasn't closed off in the room and we were two of us (romantic).

Was looking forward to my stay at Antipoda...room was a closet. Was told I was not allowed to have guests stay over. Asked where that policy was on the website. They admitted it was not on website. Charged me $50 for a guest. Asked me to leave hotel. Made up a refund amount, and paid my in cash!!! very shady.

Location was great! Only wish they would dim the lobby lights at night the light shine right into the room as the door is glass, staff very attentive and helpful

The staff was very helpful. Included breakfast was quite good. The area is very pleasant and convenient to get to main part of Poblado.
