The Marquee has to be the best hotel in Medellin. They have a rooftop pool and jacuzzi and bar, with some of the most amazing views in Medellin. There are jacuzzis in the rooms. The terrace bar was excellent. The restaurant was excellent, and its located in the best area.

We stayed three nights here to complete our trip of Colombia. I see some of the reviews about the staff being rude, we had the absolute opposite experience. i felt that they were so nice and wanted to help us as much as possible. They were great and responsive over WhatsApp as well. The location is great. The rooftop is so pretty. The bed was very comfortable. Yes, it is noisy but they are very transparent about this. We expected it and we were so tired that it didn't really bother us much and I am very sensitive to noise.

AVOID - WORST EXPERIENCE EVER I paid a lot of money for a penthouse room to have a nice experience but was the nightmare the worst hotel staff. I must say in my world travels all over the world in some of the best hotels. This was a huge let down. The FRONT DESK staff was horrible the lady manager was rude she doesn’t belong in hospitality industry. All Front desk staff was rude and worst service. I must say the restaurant and rooftop were amazing. Rooms are nice very nice WISH THE FRONT DESK STAFF WAS NICER. Avoid this hotel at all cost also the location is horrible loud music blasting all day long and noise level is brutal.

Terrible service. Because they have a good location and guaranteed business they take the guests for granted and treat them extremely shabbily. We have had bugs in our breakfast and no apologies from the server. Rude night staff who abused us for coming back late , accusing us for not being hotel guests even though we had the penthouse 2 and a room on the 7th floor. The front desk bellman was very good.

Great stay overall with good breakfast, comfortable rooms, and excellent service. Unfortunately, one staff member (Brandon) had a poor and arrogant attitude, which took away from the otherwise positive experience.… Giving it 4 stars.

Medellín Marquee at El Poblado - Excellent location and service. Breakfast and rooftop lounge are not to be missed. Top restaurants and nightclubs are at walking distance. Special shout-out to David at the lobby who helped us a great deal.

This is a review for the coffee tasting experience with Javier. My friend and I had an incredible private coffee tasting a couple of months ago. Javier is extremely knowledgeable and passionate about coffee. He gave us background information about coffee growing, especially in Colombia, and guided us through the cupping process. He helped us identify our personal coffee preferences and provided tons of recommendations around Medellin. Hands down one of the highlights from our time in Medellin!

Spend a few extra dollars and do yourself a major favor and book CLICK CLACK HOTEL instead. Experience was super underwhelming. There is no lobby very small and the staff have an arrogant pompous attitude for reasons I do not know. If you do stay here, which I highly do not suggest, walk over to Click Clack hotel for a drink and/or bite and youll experience the vast difference in hotel, service and staff quality. This hotel has no rooftop, very small. Yes you receive free breakfast but the staff is very aggressive and cold. This should be a 2 star hotel, at best.
