Great location and walking distance from the train station. Clean rooms and quiet!!! Kurt was very friendly, professional and accommodating. he allowed us to check in early. he provided us with a great history of Mechelen and the area. Love the shower and the natural hair & skin products (shampoo, shower gel and conditioner). I definitely stay there again!!!

Just outstanding! Stayed for the weekend in the most tranquil peaceful space. Wonderful hosts! Can’t do enough for you! Beautiful room, fabulous shower products. The breakfast options are amazing! The cheese is just 11/10! High quality cooked/presented with a lot of love and care! I loved my stay and hope to visit again! Thank you for making it so special.

We stayed at Porta Superia after our visit to Technopolis with our 2 sons (ages 6 & 7). Our hosts were very kind and welcoming. They gave us great suggestions for our dinner (de Vleeshalle, which was also exquisite) as well as for other (family friendly) activities. The room had all the luxuries of modern day living, whilst preserving the unique character of the house. The breakfast the day after was a true culinary experience for our entire family. Overall, I would certainly recommend this for anyone wanting to discover Mechelen!

Kurt has been very attentive. Room was excellent breakfast even better. Hidden gem in Mechelen. Focus on sustainability and truely following through! From bio products at breakfast to to recycling waste water and NASA showering technology using 1/3 of the water of a normal shower. The reastaurant recommendation as well as the chocolatery have been spot on fullfilling our whishes. Herman & Kim

Goede locatie , juist buiten het oude stadscentrum. Mooi en sfeervol huis, kamers zijn prachtig ingericht en comfortabel.hele professionele en lieve gastheer. Beste ontbijt ooit ever. Niet verder zoeken maar gewoon hier boeken. Aanrader!

Mooi gebouw, topkamers voorzien van alle faciliteiten, parking zeer dichtbij, uitstekende douche, heerlijk ontbijt (onder andere die yoghurt met granola en appel was hemels!) en super vriendelijke gastheer! Als we terug in de buurt van Mechelen zouden moeten zijn, gaan we sowieso terug!

De kamer was uitstekend het was de suite en het was het waard, het ontbijt was subliem en je hebt een geweldige uitleg over alles en hij had ons ook aanbevolen om een velo taxi te nemen .De uitbater is een goede ambassadeur voor mechelen.We gaan zeker nog terug
