Hotel Brull

Nice hotel, quiet location, ideal if you want to get away from the hustle and bustle. Warm welcome and extensive breakfast buffet. Rooms quite large and nice bed. A bit outdated but that's ok for the price. Too bad it stinks of dogs because they are welcome in the hotel. Furthermore, top experience.

Nice hotel, very friendly staff

The reception could be much better and friendlier. Sometimes unintelligible due to dialect. Room was only changed very late in the afternoon. Hotel a bit in decline. Beautifully located for cycling routes. Breakfast as one would expect.

No overnight stay, we had reserved a 4-course meal in the restaurant. Furniture was showing its age, chairs were worn, cool room temperature, unpleasant smell, especially in the entrance area. Service, food, drinks menu was like a better snack bar, main course was cold and had to be heated in the microwave, plates were also swapped on the second serving.

We stayed in hotel Brull from Saturday August 19 to Sunday August 20. Upon arrival we were not welcomed by the receptionist, in fact...not a word was said to us. Only when we had been standing there awkwardly for a few minutes did we try to start the conversation ourselves. When it turned out that we were guests and, unusually enough, had to pay immediately, it suddenly turned out that we could be talked to. In the evening we returned to the hotel with the idea of ​​having a drink and a game with our family. Unfortunately, there was no bar to be seen and there was no outdoor lighting at the seats, so neither of those things happened.... again a missed opportunity! Then we went to bed...where it turned out to be extremely warm in the room. There was no air conditioning or fan in our room, the room was also musty and dusty. The carpeting in the hallways is also in dire need of replacing. To top it all off, the fire alarm went off at 00:25, which fortunately turned out to be a false alarm. Now of course this can always happen once, but unfortunately this has been happening 1 or 2 times every month for over a year. It's scandalous that they don't do anything with this, at the reception they even acted surprised when we said that it appears to happen more often.... this has even been confirmed by the Fire Department. Anyway, if it is not known, why are pantyhose stockings placed over the detectors everywhere?! All in all, we definitely didn't think it was worth €150 for one night! We will therefore never return to this hotel again.
