It's not far from the sky. It's the closest hotel to the skywalk. It's already very dark when you arrive at night, and you can't see clearly what's around. There's no Wi-Fi in the room. At first, you'll feel sad and empty, but then... When the door opened the next morning, it was snowing on the mountain. It was quite beautiful. Come here and be prepared for two things. First, there is no internet for mobile phones. Second, breakfast requires an additional fee and is relatively simple, just pancake. Everything else is fine. You can see the pictures for yourself. Still quite beautiful and original

Nous avons passé 1 nuit au ranch, c’était formidable nous étions en immersion totale. Merci au cow-boy Dave pour cette soirée au tour du feu de camps accompagné de ses champs avec sa guitare et son harmonica. Je recommande.

What a wonderful experience we had at the ranch, from check in to check out we were made to feel so welcomed. The ranch has lots on offer from horse riding to shooting lessons. The staff were so friendly, the restaurant was great and the food choices extensive and delicious. Campfire singing and s'mores with Cowboy Casey were brilliant and such a fun way to meet others. My highlight was a personal shooting lesson with Cowboy Casey, he made me feel at ease with easy instructions and I even managed to ding the bell with a couple of my shots. If you don't mind rustic then you must go to the ranch, you won't regret it!!

Went with three friends for ride and campout . What can I say, we had a truly amazing time. Had a smile on my face on the ride the whole time, and camping out under the stars was amazing. Carlton our cowboy guide was a great guide and a splendid cook. Had a very tasty steak around the camp fire. We pulled our cots out of the tents and slept gazing up at the stars. Watched the sunrise drinking coffee around the fire and felt like 'proper cowboys'. In the morning went to the shooting range with the very colouful cowboy Dave and lived out more of our cowboy fantasies. My advice would to definitely choose the camp out option for the full immersive experience.

Fantastic location in the middle of nowhere – at night the sky was full of stars. A 15 minute drive to Grand Canyon West entrance. The problem is amenities. I understand that it is not a 5 star hotel but a canyon lodge. Nevertheless I think one might expect a decent level of cleanliness. Unfortunately I found the following problems: to start with the toilet got clogged after first use! It was at 8.30 pm, just after our arrival. When I reported it at the reception the receptionist suggested that I unclog it myself using UNCLOGGER (because maintenance staff just went home)!!! Finally a friendly employee of the ranch did it for me. The toilet itself and bathtub were very dirty. Only a tiny shelf for cosmetics. The state of water hose of the toilet indicated that it had not been cleaned for a long time. Washbasin was far from perfect too. On the bedsheet there was a long black hair on it. We had a cabin and a tent. Floor under beds in the tent seemed to not have been cleaned for months. Considering that one night is around $ 200 the owner should make substantial improvements or advertise it as a hostel of low category and lower prices by at least 50%.

Only stayed here one night but couldn’t be happier with the accommodations. I normally only stay at chain hotels (Hilton/Hyatt/Mariott) because frankly I am worried about the unknown of an independent operation. The service and value provided at the ranch were better than anything I have experienced in the past 10 years of travel. Views and service were amazing. Great for a one night or week stay in my opinion.

My husband and I enjoyed our 3 night stay very much! We enjoyed wonderful meals, and s'mores by the nightly campfires. During our stay, we also took a horseback sunset trail ride and enjoyed campfire songs by the wonderful Arizona Casey! The ranch is about 20 minutes from the Grand Canyon. We also visited the historic route 66! We felt very welcome at the ranch, and everyone was so friendly. This trip was amazing! I highly recommend visiting the Grand Canyon Western ranch!

Didn't stay at the ranch, but experienced the horseback riding tour thru another company. Horses were well cared for and the guide was fun. Lunch was great for a western ranch. Talked to several people staying there and they all enjoyed the accommodations. Hope I can return someday to stay
