Great
GGuest UserI was at teh Evan Hotel during the WACO WORDFEST in 2024-and found their staff positive, professional and pro-active.
The facilities were modern and clean.I especially appreciated the provision of tea and coffee and water in the Lobby.
I would heartily recommend the Evan Hotel to those staying in Waco

GGuest UserWhen we walked in to the lobby the hotel looked very clean but when we got to our room that was not the case. There was blood on the comforter and sheets. We also had a cockroach in our bathroom. Very disappointing. The hotel is in a great location to what we wanted to do.
AAnonymous UserThe hotel rooms are comfortable, clean and suitable for work, vacation and leisure. The environment is clean, tidy and quiet.
The hotel is in a good location with convenient transportation
The Wi-Fi provided by the hotel is also stable.
GGuest UserLoved the environment and each of the hostesses were very welcoming and helpful.. The breakfast could’ve been more appeasing tho.. The items and the food was tasty but not enough to get your energy going for the day.. Left me still hungry
KKarenEverything was great. The only reason they got a 4/5 on service was there were no towels in the pool area when I went 1 morning, so when I realized, I had my hubby call down to the front desk. They said well send some immediately. I waited 30 mins & still no towels. My daughter ended up having to bring me a towel from our room. By the time all this happened & I was walking back to elevator to go to our room, that's when I ran into someone finally bringing towels. Other than that, everything was awesome. We would definitely stay again if we're in the area.
DDONGDONGHilton chain brand, similar standards everywhere. This hotel in Waco is not bad, right by the river, facing Waco's first cross-river bridge and herd of cattle sculptures, in a good environment. It is 5 minutes walk to the center of the city, there are many restaurants around and it is convenient to eat.
GGuest UserYour staff is great! Front desk clerk was friendly, hospitable and helpful. The room was clean and so was the rest of the hotel. We were unable to go to the pool area or not able to have the breakfast due to this ugly time, Coronavirus, but other than that I would say this is a great hotel! Thank you!
GGuest UserGiven the area of Waco this is in, I was expecting much. But the room was really nice and clean. Floors could use some work but it was nice, cleaned, smelled good and the staff was super sweet. Would definitely stay here again and recommend.
EErica PadgettThe room was dirty, stunk… I smoke but the smell of cigarettes was sooo overpowering! I stayed here for a few months a year or more ago and it was a nice place I don’t know if management has changed but it’s gross now. There was roaches and the bathroom door on the inside was tore up as if someone had a dog locked in it. The lighting was also horrible and my neighbor was outside my room all night people hollering at 3:30 in the morning it’s ridiculous!!
夏夏Overall, it is still close, very close to the high speed, a bit noisy, 5 minutes from the Baylor University campus, do not think that 2.6 kilometers can walk to reach, to walk more than 50 minutes, the key is that the route is not so good, there are many traffic, Still called: uber or lyft software is better, 6.8 dollars can be. The photo is a very small breakfast area, you can make homemade waffles, and the taste is not bad. The last photo except the box of raspberries is the hotel, the breakfast is very simple...
