My husband have stayed here a few times over the years and we have always had great, friendly service. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. Affordable and quiet.

TV didn’t work - staff unable to fix room was a far cry from the “deluxe” queen we stayed in 5 days previously for less money. When we asked about a room with a couch we just got a response of “I don’t know”. Overall a disappointing stay

Travelodge McBride is our "go-to" stop transiting from Calgary to Prince Rupert. Prices are always excellent, pet rooms available for only $15 extra with tons of parking for vehicles with trailers and motorhomes. The staff/owners are so friendly and have renovated the rooms. Everything you need: fridge, microwave, coffee maker, satellite TV, blow dryer and those wonderful end table lamps with the plugs for gadgets! Breakfast starts 6:30am and is basic but has plenty of choices. Superb value for the money!

The room we stayed in was dirty, I had to clean the bathroom when we first arrived which was filthy. They didn't change beds, stock towels, take dirty towels or clean the room at all while we were away they only took garbages out. It is very run down. We won't stay there again

The walls were disgustingly dirty there was garbage beside the fridge. Someone elses clothes.were behind the side table in a bedroom The dish drying rack was moldy and there was a mouse in my room. They never cleaned anything any of the days i was there. Just emptied garbage.

Stayed two nights. Jan 26th and 27 of 2025.
The staff I met were really friendly and helpful and any this review does not reflect on them at all.
The continental breakfast was very limited, but that is based on hotel occupancy I expect. Think toast, bagel, jam and peanut butter packages, cup of yogurt, coffee, package of porridge juice. Acceptable in a Spartan way.
The room was clean and warm.
The walls had zero sound insulation. I was kept awake by mechanical noise from fans, fridges, water use and footsteps. As a result, I had a very had time getting to sleep and was denied a good night rest.
The Kureg coffee machine was great for coffee and the continental coffee at breakfast was quite good.
There is a hot tub that only the brave would use and the exercise room is actually just a stationary bike in the hot tub area. Again, nothing to be proud of as of this writing.
Overall, this place is old, for sale, needs serious upgrading and should be avoided unless you are on a tight budget or just need a pillow.
The location is convenient. Parking was ample.
