We booked for my sons birthday; 2 rooms, 4 occupants each. The hotel is superb. The issues we had were with management being restrictive/not very hospitable compared to other places we've stayed. Pros: Amazing facility; clean, comfortable rooms. Front staff personnel are helpful/welcoming. Breakfast each morning was great. One of the better grab-and-go breakfasts we've had. Large pool, clean, a little warm (which was perfect for our visit because it was a little chilly). Excellent location. Cons: I called ahead to see how early we could check in (we live minutes away). I asked about using the pool until our room was ready. Manager said we couldn't use any of the amenities until after we checked into our room. Mngmnt failed to provide us with estimated check in time. NO ANSWER GIVEN. Previous hotels always allowed us to enjoy whatever amenities they had and even held our bags until checkin. We checked in as soon as our room was ready and waited till the next day for the pool. The next day was cool but nice for a swim. After 3 hours, we were kicked out of the pool because it was sprinkling on/off. No lightning in the area, just light showers. Went for a walk, grabbed lunch, etc. Noticed every other hotel had people in the pools and their fire pits lit. Not ours. Returning from our walk, other people were in our pool, but it was still sprinkling on/off. Our 4 kids were 100% supervised, respectful of others and the hotel at all times.

The South Pole event was going on and we were able to enjoy it by walking to it from our hotel. That was an unexpected bonus! We went to attend a wedding. The spaciousness of the suite was awesome. Perfect for our family!
