First time at an Extended Stay America and definitely the last! We've been traveling for 2 days, came into McAlester, Ok for the night. All the decent hotels in the area were booked so this one had a decent rating so we made a reservation for 2 queen beds in a handicap accessible room. No problem booked and paid. Arrived only to be met by a rude young woman at the front desk. She threw the cards on the counter and walked away. We got in the room to find 2 small full size beds and a tub so high my disabled father couldn't step in to. We called the front desk to explain these were full beds and we paid for queens. She said we have nothing else. We requested a cot, no cots. She said do you want it or not. It's 9 pm, we've been driving all day, so said yes, She hung up on us. Called the Extended Stay reservation number who made the reservation, to see if they could help, nothing except call tomorrow. Even the supervisor could not help us. The room is dirty, hot, a/c not working properly, beds feel like bricks. My father is 86 and a disabled vet, my husband is a disabled vet with Parkinson's, so I have to sleep in the recliner so they can get a decent night's sleep. Run as fast as you can from this place, they only want your money and care nothing about the customers.

I absolutely love this place. Rosie ,Tammy, and Stacey, are the best cleaning staff. They are so nice,helpful, and friendly .. The entire staff and maintenance are top notch always smiling and friendly. Everyone does their job and they do it extremely well. I will not ever stay at another hotel that's not an extended stay. Extended stay America in McAlester is a top notch , well staffed, and all around wonderful experience The rooms are so clean and all linens are fresh and well supplied . The location is perfect the rooms are spacious and super clean. Cleaning staff are thorough and extremely hard working. Front desk as well as every staff member I've seen repeatedly are first rate friendly and respectable. Highly Recommend. Only PLACE I WILL EVER STAY IN MCALESTER AND ANYWHERE I NEED LODGING MY FIRST AND ONLY CHOICE WILL BE HERE
