What a wonderful find! Having been game viewing for a while we needed somewhere to regroup before our flight home. Torburnlea is just far enough from Kruger to get to after a morning game drive and be able to refresh while also being near enough to JNB to make the drive to the airport fit for an evening flight. Very friendly staff and great food in immaculate surroundings makes this an addition to our must stay again list,

I had booked my Mother and I for her 60th Birthday, little did i know that we would have the most amazing stay. The attention to detail as soon as we stepped onto the premises, we were welcomed by staff who were friendly and professional. The owners Andrew and Kim were the most accommodating hosts we have ever encountered they even organised a memorial gift for my mother. I’m already planning my next visit.

The property is beautiful and clean. The stuff is pleasant and accommodating. The food is exceptional and creates a beautiful experience. I would recommend Torburnlea to anyone seeking a peaceful and perfectly curated getaway.

Our BA flight was cancelled from London so we only had one night here. We wished it had been two. It is a lovely ex-family mansion, beautifully decorated. Large garden. We missed eating here as it was a Sunday night but enjoyed our breakfast. Everything is overseen by Andrew Hall and his wife who also organize bespoke safari trips.

I have honestly never stayed at a more magnificent guesthouse! They have literally thought of EVERYTHING. The guesthouse itself is absolutely beautiful and so homely and the staff are amazing to.
