The location of their private beach is the best in my opinion it’s so clean. The service of the hotel is too strict. I ran into problems because of the bracelet thing. One of my family members got her deers erased by being in the beach and she was stopped and asked to go to the reception to check if she was a guest at the hotel but we told the security to look at our bracelets and they were from the hotel and my grandmas was also fading yet he didn’t believe us so we had to go to the reception. It was time wasted that we had to deal with just for them to be yes they are guests. And then it happened again because the first time they didn’t change our bracelets when they should’ve have done that in the first place.

House keeping was excellent, the lady that did our room was the best. The swim up bar was never open and it’s in the cold pool, which makes no sense because no one wanted to go in, that was a big disappoin**ent. The 1 hot tub on 3rd floor was closed for repairs and the other was up a lot of stairs that were slippery. The beach and bar service there was fantastic.

Great location, great staff, from reception to restaurants, housekeeping and activities. Nice big palapas on the beach. Just bring earplugs to try and drown out the banda bands. Nice waves for boogie boarding. Some noise from nearby nightclub/bar. The grounds are expansive and well maintained. The property is low rise in stark contrast to all the new towers going up all around Mazatlan and offer zero ambiance. Recommend

The front desk staff and concierge were not helpful with any of our questions. Although they advertise evening entertainment there was none as the occupancy at the resort was low. The pools were very well maintained and the serving staff were awesome. The beds were made every day, however very little else was done. We had to request hand towels and face clothes every day. All in all a disappointing resort.

I was a little anxious travelling while being 4 months pregnant (we were doing a baby moon/honeymoon), but as soon as we arrived to the playa, all of those worries melted away. The staff are very friendly, the rooms were clean and excellent, and the beaches are taken care of and beautiful. Throughout the day, there is a lot of loud music on the beach, but my husband and I actually really enjoyed this! Lots of reviews on here say they’re annoying, but the music is beautiful and authentic and lots of locals dancing. It was a good energy. The bands wrap it up around dinner time so it doesn’t go ALL day. The vendors are as they would be in any other place in Mexico. Most of them were lovely and we would chat with them. Sometimes the staff would ask why I wasn’t drinking alcohol, and when I told them I was pregnant, they responded in such a loving way and would talk about their own children. It made me feel so comfortable to see some other pregnant women at the resort too. I didn’t really like the food all that much at the Buffett as I found it to be very bland, but being pregnant I may have had food aversions to it. I loved the fresh fruit and yogurt. The other restaurants in the resort are good, but we ended up eating off resort a lot just for more options. I would stay here again!

I have mixed feelings about our stay. On one hand the staff were fantastic. Everyone was kind and helpful! The property itself is pretty as well, it is one of the few resorts along the ***** that we saw that actually had chairs on the beach. However we were disappointed that the swim up bar was closed and therefore the most beautiful pool on the property was a ghost town. We also really struggled with the food. Everything was cold and it all tasted the same. After the first few days we just went off resort and paid to eat elsewhere. The entertainment in the evenings was also not entertaining in the least. It was also VERY noisy - there are bands that play on the beach that are suuuuper loud, so we paid more for an ocean view room and very much regretted that choice. We also found there to be very little sound separation in general and were woken up pretty consistently by people moving through the resort yelling and laughing at 4:00am after a night out. Overall, we won’t be back. But a big thanks to the staff!

Excellent location on the beach and Malecon. Great restaurants close by. Breakfast buffet is acceptable but skip the lunch and dinner. Lots of great restaurants close by.
