There was mold in the room and they claimed there wasn’t any other rooms to switch to and the best they could do was clean the mold or move us to a room with bad filtration system or broken furniture. It wasn’t until we requested a refund did they magically have a room to switch us to. I also have celiac disease and if you have any dietary restrictions or allergies to food I do not advise to stay here. It’s already nearly impossible to find food while traveling when you’re limited and there was very little understanding of celiac/gluten free issues here and I got sick because the coco cafe had a salad that was claimed to be gluten free by the worker had a huge piece of bread in the middle of the salad. If you do come here I advise to eat at the patio resteraunt. The head chef is incredible and understanding of my health issue and was very thorough in making sure everything was gluten free that I ate. It wasn’t until the concierge (thania) who was incredible with helping, brought out the food and beverage manager did I finally have something to eat. The food and beverage manager, the concierge thania, and the head chef at the patio resteraunt were all incredible so if you have any dietary issues I advise to speak to them, because otherwise no one else here will listen to your health issues and will get you sick. The bar and pool and events were very fun but otherwise I didn’t have a great experience unfortunately, especially considering the price it’s not worth it.

My family and I just got back from a great vacation at Dreams. My only warning - if you like to walk around cities, wandering in to restaurants, etc, this probably isn’t best option for you. We went in to the city one day of our trip for ~7 hours and it’s about a 40 minute drive each way. If you are looking for a resort where you can hang out at the pool all day and have great entertainment, I highly recommend staying here! Every morning we enjoyed the breakfast buffet and got seated with Arturo every morning. He was always so attentive and kind, even remember our last day and bringing us drinks and dessert. Every day at the pool Sylvester took care of us and always went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed. My favorite part of the trip were the dance classes I took every afternoon next to the pool, led by Gill Edward and assisted by Yamir. They were so fun, and remembered me and my family. Gill also put on great entertainment every day - our first night there was a fire show and the last night there was a show that showed off mazatlan culture. On the night it rained, Gill pivoted and hosted the most fun karaoke I’ve ever been to.
